[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker makes nugget ice perfect for drinks and the capacity is just right for my wife, myself, and my adult granddaughter who lives with us.

This is our second Opal. I do believe this one is better, but I am curious about the long term implications. It makes plenty of ice and it isn’t very noisy. It does need to be cleaned often, but does let you know when you should clean the machine.

It is very hard to understand the light pattern and what it means. The blue light is on, but the water level is up to the mark. Lack of clear instructions is the main problem. However, ice quality is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great for about a month. Now light is blue which means it needs water. Unit has plenty of water. I just cleaned it last week and only use distilled water. Not making ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this one as a replacement for the Frigidaire nugget ice maker we had that quit working. So far this one is a much better machine, quieter, nicer ice and its an attractive appliance also.
