This is a beautiful cake display/stand. The wood is gorgeous, smooth, and sturdy. The glass dome is heavy without making the stand feel unsteady. There is a glass bowl also included, which is a nice touch. I haven't had to use it yet, but would be great to have for whipped cream for a dessert displayed.

This cake stand is exactly what I've been looking for. It is the perfect size for my German chocolate cake. Other stands I've had scraped the side , but not this one. Glass is not paper thin like others. It is thicker and I don't worry about it breaking.

This is a very great idea. It can be used as a cake and or cookies display or turned upside down and become a party platter. I will be using this multiple ways. Both for cakes and party platter for veggies with dip or fruit the included bowl will hold all of our favorite dips for fruit veggies or meat and cheese

Outstanding! That’s the best way to describe this 2 in 1 cake holder and dipper dish! The wood holder and glass that goes in the bottom for dips are a perfect combo. Perfect to also store it . Very easy to use and beautiful item.

This cake stand is very large; see attached images showing how big it is next to a pitcher and a kettle. The quality is good, but it is not clear from the product specs whether the wooden part of the stand is dishwasher safe, hence 4 stars instead of five. Also, the wooden part of the stand is reversible; can be used as a cake stand as shown in the product picture above, or flipped over and used as an hors d'oeuvre tray with a built-in bowl for dipping sauce.
