When installing this product, you have to make sure the screens are not too taunt. You basically have to play with and get perfect the alignment and tauntness of the two halves. Once you do that, the concept works perfectly, even with a breeze. I would definitely recommend.

Box appeared to have factory packaging in place but when I got home and started reading the instructions and inspecting the parts I found one of the magnets and it cover missing. I found the magnet but the magnet cover was not in the box. All I can say is this is very poor quality control on magic mesh's part and if I do buy another one I will inspect it before I leave the store. Thanks for causing me to take another trip across town, from what I seen of the mesh it appeared to be junkie and very low quality.

You'll need a hammer, measuring tape and a step ladder. The ladder is if your not more than 5/5 so you can reach the top of door frame. It comes with black tacks. I placed mine between the Velcro strips. It works very well and I love the sound of the clicks when it closes behind you. The reason instructions say not to let it drag at bottom during installation is because when a big wind pushes it open, the bottom wont click closed if its dragging on floor. .

I really liked the product. The screen is heavy enough to keep out flies etc. for warmer weather. The downside is because it?s magnets. It will stick to the door very easily, but if I open my screen to the right it?s much less of a problem. This replaced my other screen that was mounted on a rod. I have a metal back door with washer and dryer right next to the back door soooo lots of metal nearby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mesh screen has definitely been a game changer in our household. We now can have the door open without worrying that bugs/insects will fly in and intrude our living space. Another plus is this mesh screen allows for our cat to walk in and out to the patio without having to keep opening the door for her, she’s become independent because she can easily walk through the screen as the magnets pull apart and come back together once she has passes. This is the second screen we’ve bought and will continue to purchase them.

I installed this product about two weeks ago and it worked just like it said, BUT I have two rough boys and one of them stands 6'7" tall. They tore right through it, now everytime they come in or go out, I have to get up and close the screen myself! Also, one of the magnets have already fallen off. It's a great concept, but I think it would be better for people who will be more gentle with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We leave the door open a lot so the kids can play outside and I can still hear them while inside. The flies that were coming in were beyond annoying and I didn't want to spend money on a screen/storm door because we rent our house. This Magic Mesh hands free screen was a great solution to allow us to keep the door open and prevent all the flies from coming in! It's also easier to walk in and out than a framed screen/storm door because it's hands free. Which is a huge plus for my two young kids, the youngest which is still getting the hang of opening doors. Also, it allows our dogs to go in and out as well. The dogs learned pretty quickly they could just walk through. The strong magnets close behind you when you walk in and out. Our door is a metal door so occasionally the magnets stick to the door if it's only cracked and walking in towards the door, but the majority of the time this doesn't happen and I've trained the kids to manually close it when it does. One of my dogs is a bad dog and door scratches to try and come inside so to keep him from tearing up this screen when the door is closed and we're not home, I pull the screen door open and away from his scratching spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. My dogs can go in and out with out bothering me every 10 minutes to take them out. while the inside is still protected from all the bugs coming in. But the only down side is that it is starting to show some wear and tear around the magnetic clasp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been one of the products that I really do like and I do recommend it really keeps any bug out of the house really I used to have problems with flies getting in through the door through the little holes but once I put this on the door there’s been no flies coming in. I’ve had no problems going in and out the whole product just works amazing. I absolutely love it. It’s not heavy it’s not too late. It’s just the perfect amount to hold the weight that it’s carrying. I love it. Absolutely recommend 10 out of 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d seen the Magic Mesh Hands-Free Screen Door and always wanted to try it. So glad we did. The mesh is very thin, almost like a screen enclosure which still allows a nice breeze to flow through while keeping the bugs out. The magnets keep the door shut and work well.
