My major complaint is that the magnets are not strong enough to hold the two screens together! The concept is great, but the product is useless. With the slightest breeze the screens will come apart and billow in the wind. Looking for solutions to this problem, I started reading online reviews. I'm certainly not alone in my opinion of this "magic mesh". I will be returning it.

I decided to buy the As Seen on TV Magic Mesh after seeing how wonderful a similar product worked at my uncle's house. To be honest I didn't expect it to completely suck! The velcro tape it came with would not stick. We had to hold it up just to keep it in place so that we could nail in the wood nails. The nails kept bending and when it was all up and nailed the magnets would not close on their own. It was such a heachache to deal with that my husband ultimately returned it!

Do you get what you pay for? Read to the end and you decide. 1.) the push pins are great 2.) the fabric is very very thin and not meant to last but does work 3.) magnets open and close great but the plastic surround that cover the magnets have snap together tabs that break easily causing magnets to fall out (easy to lose) ...best to take plastic housing apart and glue them together before installing this product. 4.) the fabric they chose to bind the ends of the netting fabric frays a lot and continues to fray until it reaches the plastic surrounds that house the magnets. A design FAIL BIG TIME All in all, with a few improvements to rid design defects and better netting material, this could be a winner. I am now inspired to make one with fiberglass screen and salvage the parts such as magnets, plastic magnet housings and push pins. 2-24"x7" screens are about 2.50 a piece. I hope to create my own DIY improved version because after just 2 months, this one is trashed and I am a single middle-aged woman who lives alone.

I bought this for my dog and nd he loves it. now on warm days I can leave the balcony door open and he can go in and out as he pleases. I love how easily it installed. No tools, no drilling of holes just install the Velcro strips and up it goes, DONE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product. I think it’s a really cool idea. You can exit hands free. Sometimes the doors don’t close all the way and the pets have figured out how to get out even though I don’t want them to. Keeps the bugs out though!

This is our second one ! I love the cross ventilation throughout my garage. It keeps the bugs out too! Can’t use if it is too windy, but love it otherwise! Easy to install and good price! We have it on 2 doors in our grange. One on the side wall and one on the house entry door. The large garage door doesn’t have to be open!

It went up really fast and easy. It did not fit really well though, it was off centered which I did not mind cause it still worked. My kids were going in and out and bugs were staying out. It worked great for a little while then it started to come apart at the seams up on top after a week. Now it does not hang up properly so the magnets do not line up the right way and it does not work at all.

Opening the box and pulling out everything first look was ok feels kinda cheap. After reading instructions I felt very comfortable installing so that's nice how easy they were to read and understand. After installing you find out the magnets are not that strong so they don't close easy. And it isn't great if you have kids and dogs because if they are constantly going in and out it isn't closing so bugs are still going to be a problem. It's quick but it's cheap!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok I was skeptical at first but to be honest I love it. 1 it was the most simplest thing to install. 2 I can leave my door open and not worry about flies getting in. It will take my little old lady time to get use to it but now I don't have to run to the door and open it everything she wants to go out or come in lol. Now I need to go get a second one for my front door haha. Love love love will recommend to everyone.

I really was worried before we used this product but it is great. we have a new steel door on the back of our house and it needed some type of screen to keep bugs out. We have less problem with flies and wasps in our house since we put this up. The only problem is that it is too easy and fast for our 20 month old great grandson to get outside if we turn our backs on him. I have recommended it to neighbors already.
