[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a hands-free screen and didn’t require any tools to install. The magnets did close back on its own a majority of the time; sometimes I had to guide them when they did not. Quality control was lacking though. The 2 pieces of mesh panels didn’t line up at the bottom even though the magnets lined up; one was shorter than the other and is noticeable. Also, I would have preferred a more heavy duty mesh. This one felt cheap and could be torn easily. I was expecting a heavier and tougher mesh and sadly, this was not it. I would recommend a couple small weights at the bottom of the mesh panels too to hold them down in place so the wind doesn’t easily blow it open.

It has worked well. This is actually our second one. We bought our first one a few years ago. The reason we had to buy a second one is our cats got hold of the first one. It is still holding up though. We just bought this one in case the other one completely disintegrated.

The mesh is very thin, almost like a screen enclosure which still allows a nice breeze to flow through while keeping the bugs out. The magnets keep the door shut and work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Magic Mesh hands free screen door has to be the best invention I have seen in a long time. It works perfectly. The magnets allow the mesh door to open and close easily as you walk through. It is sturdy and well made. The Magic Mesh door is easy to install. It delivers on letting the fresh air in and keeping the bugs out of the house. The Last 4th of July my family was here and we were going in and out the door, so we just left the door open. Bugs got in and they were everywhere. Bugs were all over the lights and the ceiling! It was horrible and a huge ordeal to get everything cleaned up.This Magic Mesh door will prevent that from ever happening again at this household. Everyone needs this product especially if you have grandkids, kids or pets. I am truly pleased at how well this Magic Mesh door works! I am so thrilled to be the owner of this product.

I bought this because someone that I knew had it, and it worked really well. It was just not possible to make it work on my door, since it was way too wide and long. The magnets do work, and it should be easy to install, but I spent about an hour trying to see if I could make it work, to no avail. Besides it simply not fitting my door, I noticed that there are often small gaps in the areas where the magnets are not directly holding it together, which would be plenty of room for a mosquito. The bottom also dangles loosely, so ants and other bugs would definitely be able to crawl under the mesh. All in all, the mesh is a good idea, but it seems cheaply made, and it definitely will not work for all door types.

We had only one fur baby when we originally purchased this product and she enjoyed the freedom it provided BUT since we moved and acquired another little dog they are nearly worn the magnets out coming and going at will - saved us from getting up and down to let them in and out. Best buy we have made in a while.

Love this. Works well, magnets snap together nicely after going through. I wish it was a bit sturdier. We have 3 dogs going in and out through it and it lasts 2-3 months before it frays and needs replacing. Worth the money though especially for my dogs.

It took me about 20-25 min to put it together, the velcro things they give you are ok, but when I attached it to the door, I just used a hammer and put the tacks to secure it more on the wood frame, but the magnets work great, no problem, and i saves me the money of paying over 150.00 for a screen door, keeps bugs out etc.

Doesn't work. The magnets don't come together automatically so we are constantly having to pull it together. The wind blows it open. It's too long on the bottom so when you walk into the house it gets caught and won't close. The top keeps falling down so that it won't stay together. Basically this is worthless. There are better ones on Amazon don't waste your money on this one.

I am so happy with this. I wanted something to keep my back door open to enjoy cool breezes or keep it open when we are constantly in and out on our porch. This is perfect. I read a lot of reviews and took some advice from another that really helped me for what suited my door. I measured out the length rolled up the top and tacked it up inside the door frame, then tacked the sides rolled up inside my door frame. Once I tested that the magnets were working, I used my staple gun to secure. Love it so much! The only obstacle I had was my top was at first not matching up, so the top magnets weren't latching but since I had tacks in I could keep adjusting before stapling. Even if I have to replace it every 1-2 years I am okay with that.
