Okay product

I like the fact that it is easy to install in your doorway. However, this does not fit regular sized doorways. But you can try and figure out how to put it on. In addition, the magnets does not automatically connect back together. You actually have to do it with you hands. Even after you do that, there are still small gaps that insects can get through but It does provide some protection. That is not very convenient!

TV Magic Mesh

It works fine for us on our patio door It enables our pets to come in and out during warm weather to our fenced in yard.. It keeps out the bugs, and is easy to carry food and items to and from the grill with both hands. We do take it down in the winter, and put it back up in the spring.

I love this product!!

This has worked perfectly for my household!! If you I stall it properly you shouldn't have any problems! I have had it up for 4 months now! I have 6 dogs and 7 kids coming and going constantly and no rips or tears and the magnets go back together effortlessly!!

Magic Waste of Money

This product fell apart the 1st day I had it installed and it was not at all abused. The fabric tore at the top, middle and on the 3rd day a magnet fell off! This product is of very very poor quality! I wish someone would have told me NOT to purchase this product.

Not happy

The magnet were not sticking, 2 of the clamps were broken, eventually none of the clamps work and just kept falling out. I just took it down and threw it in the box. Perhaps if it was intact better it would be beneficial. Maybe just maybe I’ll try again

Magic Door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Magic Mesh hands free screen door has to be the best invention I have seen in a long time. It works perfectly. The magnets allow the mesh door to open and close easily as you walk through. It is sturdy and well made. The Magic Mesh door is easy to install. It delivers on letting the fresh air in and keeping the bugs out of the house. The Last 4th of July my family was here and we were going in and out the door, so we just left the door open. Bugs got in and they were everywhere. Bugs were all over the lights and the ceiling! It was horrible and a huge ordeal to get everything cleaned up.This Magic Mesh door will prevent that from ever happening again at this household. Everyone needs this product especially if you have grandkids, kids or pets. I am truly pleased at how well this Magic Mesh door works! I am so thrilled to be the owner of this product.

original great now its cheap

i bought my first one that lasted 4 years till a crazy squirrel got attached to it. i loved it. unfortunately my second one the magnets weren't working well with gaps due to misplaced magnets and screen was torn by someone going through it after being up a short time. maybe they have cheapened it??

Please read

I’ve been buying theses for years. And although at first they work like a charm they quickly turn to garbage. They go slack when the heat comes so you’re constantly adjusting them because if they even barely touch the floor people’s feet start catching them and tear the trim. The first few times you go through them with a tray of food it’s fine but wait till the time the magnetic seem catches on you and you’ll realize the lady in the picture on the box may be covered in scars by now from hot plates. The magnets suck and the material gets stretchy and grabby. Great at first then you find yourself trying to guide the magnets to each other. They’re worse in the wind or with a fan on. Getting a real screen door defeats the purpose of hands free coming and going. Please make them with stronger magnets and less stretchy material! I wish I had the couple hundred dollars back I’ve spent on these things. Just my experience with them and my opinion. Good luck.

Good for the Price

I live in an RV and my dog, several cats, and I are in and out the door a lot. This is the second screen I have purchased--kittens made spaghetti of the first one. I like that I can see through it, it keeps the ac and the heat in, and the flies out. I don't have much clearance above my door, so I bought a wooden yardstick, attached the mesh to it, and hung it like a frame above the door, screwing the yardstick in at the ends. I secured the sides as directed. The reason I didn't give it five stars is I wish it were a little sturdier at the top of the screen. It's already looking a little worn. But for $15, I can replace it again if necessary.

read and you decide

Do you get what you pay for? Read to the end and you decide. 1.) the push pins are great 2.) the fabric is very very thin and not meant to last but does work 3.) magnets open and close great but the plastic surround that cover the magnets have snap together tabs that break easily causing magnets to fall out (easy to lose) ...best to take plastic housing apart and glue them together before installing this product. 4.) the fabric they chose to bind the ends of the netting fabric frays a lot and continues to fray until it reaches the plastic surrounds that house the magnets. A design FAIL BIG TIME All in all, with a few improvements to rid design defects and better netting material, this could be a winner. I am now inspired to make one with fiberglass screen and salvage the parts such as magnets, plastic magnet housings and push pins. 2-24"x7" screens are about 2.50 a piece. I hope to create my own DIY improved version because after just 2 months, this one is trashed and I am a single middle-aged woman who lives alone.
