Folks, I just bought this like about 3 weeks ago. It works well for what I needed it for . I am renting and can not add a screen door to the front of the house so I bought this screen. Its the best cheap product I ever bought. The magnets worked very well except when its really windy out side :). It keeps out the bugs and my 2 five year old twin boys walk through it every day and its still up . The best part is that you receive tacks with the screen and this helps to keep the screen in place. I already recommended this product to my friends and families. I love it.

This is really great to keep our door open and not let bugs in. My dog likes the freedom of going in and out. Our cat watched us and learned how to get out. That's the only problem since he is not an outside cat. We put up a baby gate to keep the cat in.

Not only is this a lot more cost efficient than a regular sliding screen door, unlike regular screen doors, this one allows you and/or your pet to glide in or out without using your hands/paws, which is real convenient when you have your hands/paws full.

Very poor quality. Will burst through very easily especially if it’s at a high traffic door. I have bought a mesh previously. I can’t remember which one which is why I bought this one thinking it was the same. This one only has a few pieces of tape to stick the sides to the door frame. So there will be gaps and they do unstick easily. Would definitely have to buy more tape and use that. Plus the middle where you walk through only has a few magnets that keeps it together. The one I bought previously was a continuous magnet strip that holds at every point. So this one there are gaps and bugs can get through. I would not recommend this particular mesh. Not good quality at all

The tacks kept bending even with controlled force. They created holes that tore the mesh and left it hanging. The peel and stick Velcro is a waste of time. It only sticks to the door frame. Waste of money and effort. It only closes if you pull it together manually, can’t withstand normal wind either.

the only con here is that the size wasn't exactly the fit for my door, but luckily it was wider than my door as opposed to being more narrow, which would have defeated the purpose. It extends a couple inches beyond the wood molding of our back door. Very easy to put up, and very functional, my cats got the hang of it soon enough too.

I had been putting this purchase off for a long time because the description nor the pictures didn't tell me how I could use this with my real wide patios glass door. It comes with numerous velcro strips, works great! it's not as wide as I would wish, but I could buy another for that. I would definitely buy again.

On a windy day the magnets are not strong enough to keep the screen closed. Sometimes you have to help it (i.e. after you walk through it, you have to turn around and use your hands to align the magnets and close it again.) The magnets on each side do not line up so you have to plan it out first before hanging ...(Lay it on the floor, align the magnets, then hang it in such a way that you will know they'll meet when closed.) The one side is about 2 inches longer than the other so it doesn't look that great but for the most part works okay. The first day I used it, a ferral cat tried to come inside looking for handouts! I learned quickly that I can't leave the area unattended or I'll have squirrels and all kinds of critters getting in lol.

I purchased one of these years ago and the quality was better. I should have returned it but I was too busy! I don’t know it looks like it was not complete! The magnet are very strong therefore I will keep it …to use the magnets for another project and the screen material to fix a small window screen! That’s why I rated it 3 stars! Remember Walmart stands behind their Customers! I could have returned the item but I chose not to!

We bought the Magic Mesh because the wind kept catching our screen door and ripping it off the hinges. Magic Mesh was easy to install and the kids like it because it closes behind them. The only things I see wrong with it is when there was a wind coming straight into it ,it blows open and if you have a metal front door it will clamp onto it when you come thru. Other then that we love it!
