First, it didn't go on straight. We have 4 children going in out constantly and found this is not at all durable. The magnets started to come out after only a couple of weeks, it's completely falling apart, torn magnets missing, frayed, haven't had it for even a year. Pretty disappointed since trying to remove it also took off the trim paint. If you need it for low traffic doors or might hold up. I've read competitors' reviews that say theirs hold up well with DOGS. I'll try that one.

………..with modifications. Magic Mesh was too wide for my patio doors and I had to create side hems as well as a bottom hem which I weighted with stones to help it close more easily. Had to use tacks to hold the velcro tape in place - my own tacks. The tacks sent with the Magic Mesh were absurd plastic topped affairs which fell apart upon use. The Magic Mesh has been up two days now - ask again in a month for more insight.

Works OK but has to be installed with a lot of TLC and imagination, like adding some sewed stitches to the top vertical seam to keep it closed, and making sure the whole installation is "baggy", not even a little stretch left-right. The magnets are too weak, but work fine if you have no breeze problem. Cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The idea was good, but the overall development of the product was poorly done. After installing the unit, I immediately saw where flies, mosquitos, and moths could enter my home through the sides of the unit. The sides of the unit only have 3 self stick/velcro pads. This leaves soooo many gaps that every flying insect will have access to your home. Keep your money in your pocket. I took my Magic Mesh back the day after I received it.

Measure and let the magnets click before installing around door frame. Magnets seem to not run into each other as much as they used to but it is good to use when you want to air out your house as you cook meals, etc (what I use it for) and I have to grab the magnets when I want it to close. Not a bad thing but if easier to click them, 5/5.

Love having my apartment door open but keeping my cat in and the bugs out was impossible! So I got this baby and it definitely does it job. I love it. My cat hasn't figured it out yet but until he does I'm enjoying being able to keep the door open for however long I wish.

This item proved to be a very handy fix for my situation. I used it indoors on a room that needed to remain open wile the air conditioner was on but also remain pet free. The pets look but touch. Problem solved. The material and stitching could stand to be stronger...I don't know how long it will last under high traffic. I will purchase another one to have on hand. It worked, at least until my pets figure it out

The product is good for the price. It meets the purpose of what we want the product to do. Easy to assemble and no time to put up. I feel that the product might have a short shelf life. But, again you get what you pay for and I do not expect anything less.

I read the reviews before buying and saw some negative ones but the one that stuck with me was the one that said read the instructions! This is my second one to purchase. (The dog got left out in the rain and tore up the first) The dogs run in and out of it and it closes back up. Reading the instructions and installing properly is the key!

Well, for a few days this screen "door" was great! The kids and animals loved having the big door open to go in and out through the screen. But... the wind blows it open too easily... and after the first few days, threads started coming out of the trim... and one of the magnets falls off sometimes (it is easy to put back on, though). It works, but not great quality.
