This is the second one I've purchased and this one was worse than the first. I go in and out all day and the magnets fall faster than I can catch them, which is bad because I have two small dogs that chomp on anything that hits the floor. The entire piece comes off. Caution!! I've had it up for less than a month and five have fallen off. The best advice I have is to super glue all of the magnets right away.

We just got this installed today. So far so good with kids and dogs going in and out. Few tips! Follow instructions to the tee except for the tacks. Let screen "settle" for a bit. Not all doors are square! Expect changes! Velcro may need adjustments to get just right. Once it is closing right, then add tacks. We found if first upper magnets work, the rest of the magnets will follow as designed.

Well, for a few days this screen "door" was great! The kids and animals loved having the big door open to go in and out through the screen. But... the wind blows it open too easily... and after the first few days, threads started coming out of the trim... and one of the magnets falls off sometimes (it is easy to put back on, though). It works, but not great quality.

The screen looks and works as advertised. Velcro sticks well on wood and screen. It does not stick as well on stucco surfaces. We used the tacks provided and some of our own to keep the Velcro attached to the stucco. Magnetic closures work great.

This is super great, if you like to have the door open, and allow air to flow. Magnets open and close super easy, by just pushing. Works great. Keeps bugs out. Only issue is, with a metal door... this is FRUSTRATING. Rather than the magnets snapping closed... they automatically go straight to the door. If the wind blows at all, straight onto the door.

tried to put it up for the party next day. The velcro on top gave up in few hours. It would have been perfect if it stayed. I love the way it looked but materials were cheap if you're gonna take a closer look. Can't complain for the price, though. Wasn't able to use it for the party. Waste of money.

Not what they used to be. Bought one years ago and i seem to remember it being heavier. It lasted at least 2 years of constant use. Purchased another one a couple of weeks ago and it immediately came apart at the top within a few days of being hung. It also seemed very stiff and "paper-y" compared to my previous one. I have also owned the Duck Brand version which feels about the same. The only reason will consider buying the Magic Mesh brand again is because the magnts are significantly better.

I was very skeptical after reading the bad reviews but I don't see why anyone would have an even average review when this item is super amazing, it was slightly bigger than my door but you can easily adjust it, I used nails that I had to fix it well on the door and that's it.. It's been a month it didn't rip and its preventing all bugs from entering my house, I keep my door open mostly as my kids like to play outside so this item worked perfect for me..

The net ripped at the top the first day it was set up as the instructions said and the very top of the net that the magnets are connected to ripped on the first day it’s very disappointing because I had seen this for years and wanted to try. It works except the top part that is torn. Manufacturers Probably should have added some fabric to the areas that get the most movement like the top center. Bottom is fine but the flies come in through the top

My husband made so much fun of me for wanting to buy this. I had wanted it for a few weeks as its getting warmer and in the morning I like to have the back door open to the yard so the dogs can go in and out at will. Well fly season is upon us and I did not want the house to look like Amityville Horror! So it was my mission to find the "Magic Mesh". My local As Seen on TV store has closed, and at the other stores that had a section for As Seen on TV did not have it. I am so glad I checked Wal Mart. So I ordered my first Magic Mesh. Hubby installed it one day while I was gone. When I got home he said to me "you better buy a couple more for future use". So far so good. The pets love it and I love that I am not having to spray fly spray in the house every morning!!!
