I installed this in my backyard in Florida, and it gives great shade in sunny hot days and keeps us dry in the rain. Great for my table chairs and barbecue grill. Solid up to 150 miles per hour winds during hurricanes. Electric and gutters for rainstorms in florida. Just love the finished Product!

This Sarasota Pergola was and is incredible! Instructions were perfectly explained and the parts are of complete quality and fit very nicely together!!! Very nice job Backyard Discovery!!! I have been a fabricator my whole life and this was executed beautifully!!!!!!!!

Very well constructed and easy to assemble We use our deck a lot more now Since we Erected our pergola The Sarasota model 10 x 14 . Very solid unit .

I looked at serveral of this style of pergolas. The instructions were great. The best set of instructions I've used actually. We built it from start to finish in 3 hours. It works just as I expected. Great Product.

At the advice of my contractor, I bought This and couldn't be happier . It's a beautiful addition To my wooden deck And provides A sturdy And stylish shaded area . I absolutely love it The added ability to open and close The top Gives me a lot of versatility When I want to let in some sunshine and breeze. It’s both beautiful and functional.

We've now had our pergola installed a few weeks! My favorite part of our new deck! The ability to have shade or partial sun is awesome! We were also able to implement this 10x16 pergola into our new railing so it looks awesome! With the rug and furniture it makes our deck life so comfortable and cozy! We added an 8x10 shade to the west side to block the evening suns which is a great addition. We love it!

Great purchase. My husband and I put it together. The only thing we needed an extra person for was to stand up the 2 posts in the third or so step. It's a little challenging to square up.

I bought this pergola 10 months ago. I installed it myself in a day with the help of my grandson. Installation was fairly simple and instruction manual is very helpful. Make sure to follow steps as installig some parts out of oreder can mean taking it back apart. Love the louvered roof as you can enjoy the outdoors when weather is good and stay covered in wet or hot conditions. Only problem I have dad is with the power strip that comes with it. Love the convenience of plug-in availability but it is not working after 8 months.

Very sturdy but took me 8 hours to put together and built in gutters on one side leak

Less than a month after my pergola installation I noticed many anchor bolts connecting it to my concrete patio were broken off. My installer & myself questioned the strength of the bolts before installing, they were definitely not what you'd expect to use in securing the pergola to concrete. I had to purchase concrete blocks to put on the 4 pole flanges in case of bad weather. Hopefully, we can find better grade concrete anchors. I love the pergola, but am skeptical about it withstanding a North Dakota winter.
