I purchased this air fryer in February when I closed on my home in SC. I did not get to use it until I returned recently to set up the house and had thrown away the box. It has a burning smell when used that transfered to the taste on the food. I thought maybe there was a plastic was left inside or something...I have examined everywhere and don't see anything that would cause the smell. I have tried running it at 400° serveral times thinking it would burn off what ever it was....No such luck. I am pobably going to have to pitch it and buy a new one. I would not recommend purchasing this fryer.

The fan is so much louder than other ones I've had. So much so, that I returned my first one and bought a second one thinking it was defective. It has such a tall basket, the things on the top burn and the bottom things are mushy. Because the basket is so tall, anytime you try to reach in to grab something, it is very likely you will burn yourself. Just ask my daughter who burned herself tonight. Worst air fryer we've had.

I love the size but I noticed that this airfryer doesn't have a preheat setting, nor a reminder to turnover food while cooking. Am I missing something about this airfryer? So far, I've only used it about 3 times since I bought 3 to 4 months ago.
