Great value

It's not as big as it sounds. My previous air fryer was 6qt but the basket was wider than this one. This 7.8qt air fryer has a very deep basket so I'm not able to cook as much food at once in it because it's deeper instead of wider. It seems to work well but the 7.8qt seems misleading.

I absolutely love this air fryer. It is easy to use, cooks the food evenly and quickly , plus it has wonderful features. You can bake, fry, grill, boil and reheat, your food. I would highly recommend this item. It is useful to cook a delicious meal for a single person or a family of 2.

First off I want to say that it is an extremely fast %26 convenient way of cooking when pressed for time. Unfortunately I was only able to fit 3 small pieces of salmon steaks into it in one setting and that in itself was a strong struggle of Tetris! I couldn't even fit a 6 quart bowl of potatoes into the basket. I ended up putting them on a cookie sheet and into the oven. So saying it is a 7.8 quart basket is truly a deceptive statement. If it wasn't for the fact that there are only two of us that I cook for? Is the only reason I am keeping it. But for someone who might have to cook for 4 or more? You may have to look elsewhere. Unless of course, you don't mind cooking two separate batches? Just saying.

This was a gift for me for being one year cancer free and I plugged it in and it doesn’t turn on I unboxed it and put it on my shelf when it was gifted to me and today I decided to use it and I plugged it in and no power at all. I dont have the box and unsure who purchased and feel a little embarrassed to ask who bought it and it doesn’t work.

Light is very dim like the other reviewer mentioned. It's small. 3 stars because it does heat up food quickly and well. If you've never had an air fryer, this is sufficient. If you've had other air fryers then this might not check off any major things off your list.

This Midea is my first Air fryer purchase and I am very pleased with it. I did look at other brands and found this one is more suitable for my needs. It's very easy to use, not a lot of extra menu options. I love the extra minute feature,the light in the basket area and the fact that the light blinks constantly on the menu when in the OFF position is a plus . I don't have to open the basket to view the start up process. Thanks for the thoughtful conveniences.

Purchased in Sept 2025 - initial update was positive after first time use. UPDATED JAN 8, 2026 - While the air fryer cooks well, the materials (grate and basket) really suck...it is not non-stick and doesn't clean easily. You will spend several minutes each cleaning the grate and the basket - the grate is the worst I've ever used and the basket is not completely nonstick either. Photos won't upload for some reason, but the grate looks like rust after it dries. THIS ONE IS GOING IN THE TRASH AFTER REPLACEMENT ARRIVES! DO NOT BUY!
