I’m a big fan of sour things, and these had that kick. My favorite flavor was probably the peach, it was sweet and sour. The cherry tastes like a fruit roll up. Then the grape was very hit or miss for me. It took a bit of time to acquire a taste for the grape one, and it’s the one I’ve reached for the least. Overall, these were tasty, but I’m not sure I would buy a whole 24 pack as opposed to just a bottle when I’m in the mood for something sour.

The flavors are fun and different—cherry, peach, and grape all have that extra tangy kick that makes them stand out from the regular Powerade. He says they’re refreshing, especially cold, and perfect after a workout or just during the day. He doesn’t give 5 stars only because they’re a little sweeter than expected, but overall, he’s definitely a fan and would buy them again.

As far as the sour goes, I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s “XTRA SOUR”, but instead I’d describe it as a little tang on top of the normal Powerade flavors. It’s also important to note these do have a pretty large amount of sugar per bottle.

The taste was overly artificial and sour in a way that wasn’t refreshing, making it hard to finish a bottle. While it does provide some hydration, the effectiveness doesn’t feel much different than just drinking water or a cleaner sports drink. The ingredients are the biggest letdown; loaded with artificial flavors, harmful dyes, and other unnecessary additives, it doesn’t feel like the best choice for anyone trying to fuel their body in a healthier way. The packaging is convenient for bulk, but the bright, flashy look feels more like style over substance. For the value, it’s affordable for the quantity, but the quality just doesn’t live up to what I’d want in a sports drink. Overall, not something I’d repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the flavors! Talk about adding a twist to the normal Powerade flavors! There is no carbonation but a ton of electrolytes. It has 50% more electrolytes compared to other sports drinks! My favorite flavor is peach, but after this nice hot day at the pool, the cherry flavor did its job! With the nutritional information, it is more of a workout refuel than an everyday beverage. It focuses purely on carbs and electrolyte hydration. My little brother and his friends got a taste and they loved it! Definitely kid friendly!

Not the best ingredients, which I obviously don’t expect from a product like this. I think it’s pretty effective as far as hydration. It tastes okay but nothing over the moon, I don’t really taste too much sour, which isn’t bad, it’s just not necessarily I would think of something labeled sour as. The packaging is good, it fits easily in water bottle slots on backpacks and those type of things.

No carbonation which was good and serving size vs calories were perfect. Ingredients could be better for an athletic drink

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not a fan of these. The sour taste is so strong that it overtakes everything else, I got no flavor out of any of them. The sour taste was so strong in the peach one that it actually gave me a headache. I would’ve enjoyed them a lot more if I could have tasted the intended flavors. However, my younger cousins enjoyed them.
