When I first tried a bottle of Xtra Sour Powerade I had a distaste for it. I drank a room temperature bottle and though "this just makes me fell still thirsty because of the sour". Fortunately, I bought a case and tried it a second time (this time chilled) with far better result. When you drink these cold they are absolutely amazing. The sour cherry is now one of my all-time favorite drink flavors. The grape and peach are also very good. I hope they are sold at Sam's for a long while.

These are great when almost frozen. Especially, on a hot summer day. I love that they do not have a bitter after taste.

The taste is really like eating sour candy but in reality, you're also getting electrolytes and energy! I'm very happy with this because it's always super difficult to get my husband to drink his electrolytes but because this specific brand and loin tasted like candy, he was super happy to have it because it was sweet and sour at the same time and I was super happy that he was actually getting the energy and electrolytes that he needs to get through his work day! The packaging design is really great and the bottle is easy to open with no struggle. The flavor variety is really great. They come in three flavors, sour grape, sour cherry and sour orange. I'm really happy with how this product turned out for us and I will definitely continue to buy this for my husband.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Powerade Xtra Sours are yummy and come in three different flavors in the pack! They taste like the originals with a slight sour/tart kick to it. I wouldn’t say they are “Xtra Sour” but just enough to give you that kick but they do taste very good! Honestly, I am glad they weren’t super sour because then the drink would be overwhelming and not enjoyable to drink but not this one - it is actually very pleasant and refreshing! Glad I was able to try these out, I do see myself purchasing more in the future!

I wouldnt drink these everyday but as an occasional drink its quite fun. The packaging is cute and I love the colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i usually really like sour things but i don’t know about this one, it’s kind of weird. my husband who likes the sour drink from dutch bros really likes this so if you like that drink you’ll probably like this but personally i didn’t think the flavor profiles fit well and was very disappointed in the way it tasted. it’s not extremely sour but it’s sour like a sour patch kid

The flavor was good and tasted just like what it said on the packaging. These have no carbonation, which is nice for those with sensitivities. The packages was nice and had a nutrition label on it. The product was the size of a regular powerade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These powerades have a crazy strong flavor! They do have a lot of sugar but for the 50% more electrolytes I’ll take it! The 24 count variety pack is a really good deal, the best bang for your buck in my opinion.

The taste was overly artificial and sour in a way that wasn’t refreshing, making it hard to finish a bottle. While it does provide some hydration, the effectiveness doesn’t feel much different than just drinking water or a cleaner sports drink. The ingredients are the biggest letdown; loaded with artificial flavors, harmful dyes, and other unnecessary additives, it doesn’t feel like the best choice for anyone trying to fuel their body in a healthier way. The packaging is convenient for bulk, but the bright, flashy look feels more like style over substance. For the value, it’s affordable for the quantity, but the quality just doesn’t live up to what I’d want in a sports drink. Overall, not something I’d repurchase.
