I never thought I needed the PS Portal until I tried it. It has completely changed how and where I play my favorite PlayStation titles. The PS portal offers a solid, if niche, solution for those who can’t always access their TV, but it’s not without its flaws. This device is simply a remote player for the PS5 that streams games over Wi-Fi so a good connection is highly required. The portal is exceptionally comfortable to hold, especially during long gaming sessions. The controls feel similar and high quality with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers as it features an 8 inch, 1080p LCD screen capable of 60 frames per second. The portal requires a PS5 to be on or in rest mode and connected to the Internet. Battery performance typically lasts between four and eight hours. Overall, it’s a surprisingly successful device that perfectly fits my gaming lifestyle.

Amazing way to play your consoles games/cloud games while not hogging the TV. I would recommend that if you are streaming your games from a PS5 that your PS5 be hooked up to your router using Ethernet. You more than likely would have a less than desirable experience

Awesome item I didn’t get the PlayStation 5 console yet I’ve decided to stream off PlayStation plus since I bought an 1 year subscription and also picked up some games while on the PlayStation plus app the PlayStation portal has Been great I think I’m a save my money til the PlayStation 5 pro go on a sale before I buy another console but screaming from the PlayStation plus membership has been awesome so far so I can’t complain

This thing is pretty worthless. You can only use it connected to your console. So what’s the point?!?!? It’s not an independent handheld device. We immediately returned this item. It was close to $200 for basically a controller with a screen. Hard pass! Don’t waste your money!!

For me personally i like the idea of it and for some people who have more places to go and hang out this is for you but for me its useless. i work 12 hour shifts and figured id be able to play on my breaks but the internet dont reach out to my car so i been using my hotspot with it and its so slow and the graphics look like im playing on ps2 again so for me its not good. when i play it at home on my internet its amazing i dont have to be on my ps5 in my room i can use this wherever but soon as the internet gets slow or goes out its just a collectible really.

To me it’s not worth it. My son has gotten excited about this game just for it to continue to sign him out of his dad’s account and kept having him ask us for help every second. It’s too much it’s a hassle. I didn’t do my research on this before I bought it like I usually do things and this one took a turn for my money. Now I’d just like it back.

Really cool you don’t need a ps5 for it anymore but do need ps plus. Remind me of psp days but with a beautiful screen and great audio. The controls feel nice and it’s overall a good device. Charge could be better though doesn’t last very long

I love how perfect the graphic and smooth the games look on here it's even better then on my TV I love it so worth it but you have to have play station plus membership in order to get the full benefits of the device

with the updates to allow streaming most games you've bought from the Playstation store and you ps plus games(without powering your ps5 on)the value of this is great. had no issues streaming games and feels good in my hands
