Now that you can cloud stream it makes it a feasible option to buy or use in lieu of the PS5. It feels good in the hands, it's weight feels good, know that you will probably need to connect to a 5G network for it to work properly but that's pretty easy nowadays.

This device is a lot of fun and works very well if you have strong, stable Wi-Fi. When the connection is good, gameplay is smooth, looks great, and feels responsive, making it easy to enjoy PlayStation games without being stuck in one place. However, Wi-Fi quality matters a lot—if your internet is weak or unstable, the lag can be bad and negatively affect the experience. It is also important to note that if you have T-Mobile, the hotspot does not connect properly. I tried multiple times, and it did not work, so this is not a good option if you plan to rely on a T-Mobile hotspot. Overall, it is a great device for home use with good Wi-Fi, but not ideal for mobile hotspot use.

I thought this was more like a DS or Switch, but it's literally just a remote with a screen and only useful if you already have PS5. That's fine because we do, but this was purchased for our 7 year old who can't play it off his 15yr old brother is on the PS5. Dumb!

A lot of ppl talk bad about this off past experience when first released. With the new update you can remote play or play games thru cloud no PlayStation needed . Make sure remote play is enabled on PlayStation if you want to control your system on go(if you have ps5 otherwise use cloud gaming w subscription ) hope i helped others

I like this system a lot. it can be fun. although it has some major flaws. streaming is so bad. unless you have super fast internet connection on ps5 and same for pottal it lags so bad. the idea is great but needs its own inteney service. which makes it a bit useless. i can leave my room and play in living room which can be nice. so no wouldnt recommend.

it is next to impossible to actually use this device. i have 20 years experience working in IT, it took me 4 hours to get this stupid thing to actually pair with my ps5 pro. i had to factory reset both the playstation and the portal twice before they would connect. Once they did connect it would constantly drop the connection when both devices were less than 15 feet from each other and a eero router with a 1gb fiber connection. its going back tomorrow

Definitely do your research, I thought this was its own console unit. No one really explained from the research that I did that all it does is connect and pretty much “Bluetooth”, for a lack of better words, Your already standing PS5 to this. It’s nice but it’s not what I thought it was. My son was able.to use it on a trip long distance but there was times it wouldn’t work also. Depends really on the kinda wifi you have, it did suck we had to leave his ps5 on at home so it could connect away.

The latency is bad will make you not enjoy this device at all. Sony definitely fumbled on this project which could’ve been so dope. The lag is so bad that itll make a kiddy game like fighting the final boss on ghost of tsushima. The graphics on this screen are very good like omg but you cant watch movies or go to youtube or any media on this device just an overrall waste of money. The sound quality is so crisp but you cant listen to music. Sony you had an elite game changer in front of you but it just feels like this was a rushed to market device

wow what can i say. it was so easy to set up and install. it was easy to connect to the ps5. i have playstation plus and the streaming was flawless. the graphics are amazing and it works flawlessly with zero hiccuping. i love it so much and am so satisfied.

My daughter is exceptionally happy!!! Yes it can be used away from home with a premium acct. so instead of logging her PS5 around, she simply brings her portal now!!
