Bought this for a birthday celebration and it was delicious! Very rich so small slices are totally enough.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! First cake I've purchased from Sam's and it surely will not be the last! The nearest Sam's Club is a little over an hour away from me and I'll gladly take the trip for one of these cakes again and again.

On February 9, 2026 I realized I had not picked up a cake for my sister's birthday. Took a quick run up to Sam's Club and found a luscious chocolate cake with white icing that could serve as a birthday cake.

Was looking for a small Birthday Cake with chocolate and vanilla. This cake completed the mission. The Bakery staff was so kind to add the Birthday person name on the cake, which made it special to the Birthday Lady. Thanks A Million SAMs!

The cake itself was dry (like stale) and the icing was marked and suppose to be dairy, but it was sugary sweet. No one ate it and I threw out 3/4 of what was not cut. I was so disappointed. I always boast to everyone how great the cakes are.

This was a very delicious cake. Not all chocolate cakes should be eaten. Most are very dry. This one I purchased for my son's birthday. It was perfect! Delicious omg! I will be purchasing again! Yum!

This product was mostly sugar and was heavy. The cake was not moist and the outer layer was pasty. I will jot buy this again. No one in the household completed the first slice and we threw the rest away.

Very very delicious! I almost didn't get this because of some of the bad reviews I read. Even family members that prefer white cake, liked this one. Bought it for my birthday. Great decision!

Didnt think I would like a chocolate cake that didnt have chocolate icing but this was really good. I find that most are dry. This cake was moist and delicious with a great chocolate flavor. Most children would turn a chocolate cake down but not this one. It was a winner.

I typically buy the rectangle chocolate cake the one with the mousse filling however decided to give this one a try. It was just okay in my books. The cake was a little dry and the frosting had that store bought flavor. It would definitely work for a large crowd as it is a nice cake and appealing in looks but for flavor when I want chocolate cake I'll stick to the other one.
