This cake was a blind buy, our first time trying it out. My son picked it out for his birthday and loved it. The cake was so moist and rich, definitely a must try. He loves chocolate so this was a perfect choice for him. I added a few Pokémon toys for decoration and bam it looked like a custom ordered cake. It was a hit and everyone loved it. It is a bit sweet for my palette but the birthday boy approved and that’s all that matters.

Very very delicious! I almost didn’t get this because of some of the bad reviews I read. Even family members that prefer white cake, liked this one. Bought it for my birthday. Great decision!

This was a very delicious cake. Not all chocolate cakes should be eaten. Most are very dry. This one I purchased for my son’s birthday. It was perfect! Delicious omg! I will be purchasing again! Yum!

On February 9, 2026 I realized I had not picked up a cake for my sister’s birthday. Took a quick run up to Sam’s Club and found a luscious chocolate cake with white icing that could serve as a birthday cake.

Celebration cake looked like the picture. A really large cake, would be ample for a small celebration. I bought it because we were craving a good Chocolate cake. We enjoyed the buttercream frosting and unlike some reviewers did not find it overly sweet. Of course we expect sweet when not counting the calories, and just want to enjoy. Found cake to be good taste and definitely Chocolate. So would recommend since pretty, and a great cake for the price.

I typically buy the rectangle chocolate cake the one with the mousse filling however decided to give this one a try. It was just okay in my books. The cake was a little dry and the frosting had that store bought flavor. It would definitely work for a large crowd as it is a nice cake and appealing in looks but for flavor when I want chocolate cake I'll stick to the other one.

I originally got this cake because it was stunning and elegant. The chocolate work and the the presentation were amazing I thought for sure the taste would be the same; I was sadly mistaken. The frosting/buttercream was lacking in flavor, the cake itself could've had a bit more flavor. If you like very mildly sweet and semi sweet frosting this is the cake for you.

I’m giving this two stars because the cake was moist and good. What I didn’t care for and my guest didn’t like was the icing. The sugar was grainy, and it had a crisco-like texture. It was also way too sweet. Just not my preference but others may like it.

This was probably the worst cake I’ve ever had. What I purchased was a chocolate cake with a white buttercream frosting. There was zero chocolate flavor in this cake. To make it worse, the frosting left an oily residue in our mouths. The sad thing is that my son chose this as his birthday cake and was so excited until, he took a bite. Such a disappointment.

Beautiful cake but doesn't taste good. The chocolate layers were black food dye bitter with no chocolate flavor. Icing was ok but the combination was wrong. When I heard someone say,"It's not that bad if you eat it with the ice cream " I knew guests were thinking the same.
