The cake was dry. The icing tasted like shortening. The flowers on the edge were better. That icing tasted like buttercream icing. Have had good luck with cakes from Sam’s but after taking a couple of bites the whole thing went in the trash. Was shocked to read several favorable reviews.

The cake was so pretty and perfectly decorated. The cake is very sweet but delicious. All you need is a small piece so it goes a long way. It also stores great in ziploc bags in the freezer. The icing is very good and compliments the chocolate cake. I bought this cake for a birthday celebration. Perfect cake that was delivered to my home in perfect condition. Thank you Sams Club for a perfect birthday cake to celebrate.

Bought it for my Son’s birthday, he & I both loved it.

Meh- the cake was dry. Usually Sams cakes are moist, this one fell flat. Pretty but dry.
