Customer reviews for LG 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Single Oven Slide-in Range with New Handle and Instaview® forAWFUL
I bought this stove 2 years ago and have been disappointed ever since. I bought it from a local LG retailer/Appliance store and I have googled on how to repair this thing so often, it prompted me to leave a review. The knob on the large burner fell off because the pressure stem inside it quit working. The electronic panel shorts on off, but the clock has had missing fragments of digits for over a year. The elements on the stove top look spread out, almost looking like it is 'leaking'. The overall performance of the oven itself is uneven, everything in the back of the oven burns and the front of the oven isn't fully cooked. DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought it on a "3 years same-as-cash" finance plan, and it isn't even paid off yet.

Display Issue just over 1 year old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought stove Nov 21, 2021 was working great now the time display is not showing the numbers correctly. The middle bar is not displaying so an 8 looks like 0. Reading reviews this seems to be an issue for many. I can't believe a stove just over a year old should have this issue and of course it is not covered by the warranty any longer. Do not purchase this stove!

Would rate 5 stars except for minor annoyances
I mostly love my new range. Pros: So easy to clean interior! Easy to see inside with a tap Two larger burners in front to heat things up fast Two smaller burners in back plus a warming zone Convection oven option Air fry oven option Cons: The rubber trim around the top of the range is very hard to keep clean Difficult to figure out how long - or at what temperature - to air fry items (a recipe guide would be helpful) Too easy to accidentally turn front knob when reaching above the range for something (thankfully it does not turn the heat on)
Touchy Dials - Beware
Range is good other than you have to be very careful with the dials as simply brushing up against them will turn them on. They are very touchy! Not a range I would have with small children for safety reasons. Recently had a pyrex dish explode as the burner was accidently brushed up against and turned on. Luckily no one was hurt.

Bad control panel and air fry
I've had this oven for two weeks and am slowly finding out its flaws. First it doesn't fit well unless it is placed against a wall, not a peninsula because the back is not straight, so there is a gap. Second, the air fryer was slower than my portable unit and didn't crisp the chicken and I had to keep checking to see if it was even working. Third and my biggest issue is that the control panel does not light up. I was informed by customer service "you have to put it in a well lit area" It is in the kitchen below a light and across from a window, but it is still difficult to see the key pad to set the temp, time, or start button. But design flaw. Be prepared to bend over and get close to use it. Not a good but for anyone with vision problems.

Great product - when it works.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG range a year ago, it worked great for a time then two of the burners went out. To my surprise, this all happened just as the warranty had ran out. I am debating whether to repair it or switch brands.

Great Stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it has worked wonderfully. I honestly have not gotten a chance to try out all the features, but so far so good. If there was one thing I would change it would be the knobs on the front. They are very sensitive and people have turned on the stove top in error. We did figure out how to lock it so that doesn't happen which helps alot.
Hey there, we’re thrilled you’re loving your new LG Range and that it’s been performing beautifully so far! 🔥🙌 The front knob sensitivity note is a great feedback to help us improve—locking the controls is definitely a smart move for peace of mind. Thanks for sharing your experience, and if you ever show off your new kitchen setup on social media, be sure to tag @LGUS so we can admire your style! ✨ *Joseph
Not a great stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't waste your money. This stove barely made it 2 years before breaking. One knob makes 2 burners go on. Not very safe. LG products are the worst. My fridge broke 3 times after purchasing it. I also think they make their appliances out of tin foil, they scratch and dent just by touching them. I will purchase another brand next time. Such a shame after all the money I spent.
Hey there! We appreciate you sharing your experience regarding your LG range with us. We're all about making sure you can whip up delicious meals safely, ensuring everything flows like a well-oiled machine! Recipe for Disappointment Major Design Flaw!
If LG dares to remove this review, I'll make sure it's plastered across other major retail platforms. This oven is an absolute disappointment! Gone is the lower bake element, leaving me with a mere fan and the broiler/top element to do the job. My decades-old oven outperforms this fancy piece of junk any day! Macarons are overbrowning, pizzas are unevenly cooked—crust done too soon while the center remains raw. Cheese? Forget about it—it's a one-way ticket to burnt town! I conducted a meticulous temperature test, placing a professional thermometer dead center, set to 350°. For two excruciating hours, it clung to that temperature like it had something to prove. Well, what it proved was that this oven's reliance on the top broiler element is torching my culinary dreams! How on earth did LG think axing the bottom element was a stroke of genius? This "appliance" is nothing short of a disaster!

DANGEROUS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in November 2021 and noticed that even a slight lean on the front knobs turns on cooktop. Have nearly had 2 fires. We need to constantly lock the front panel to prevent this, but it still happens if oven or other burners are on.

Please send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter using @LGUSSupport and use #VOC, your contact info along with a detailed description of the issues so that we can work towards a resolution.
