Good quality for price

DOA - removed it from the box, followed the very limited directions (plug it up) then power it up and follow the on-screen setup instructions. Problem was that mine would not power up. Turn power on and only the backlighting and the little power light came on, and absolutely a blank screen with no images, no words, nothing! And trying to reach customer service is a nightmare. First called Vizio, go through all checks with the AI assistant, then get forwarded to the "live" person and we rinse and repeat with all checks. End result, send it back to Sam's. Again, try to reach a quality English speaking Customer Service Rep. Then you have to deal with sending it back. Another nightmare. After more than 6 calls to Sam's and Vizio, and probably 2 hours of my "lost forever" time, I wanted to give up and just drop it in the trash - but I can't even do that due to no recycling options!! Since Walmart now owns Vizio, it is a fiasco from all directions. I will not buy this brand nor will I have a replacement shipped to my house.

I hate this TV. It's full of random apps that I don't want or need. I have to go in and manually remove them, some of them will not let you remove them. if the TV is on at all, after a few minutes of sitting it starts up some random "relaxing" music. There is no way to turn the setting off. To make matters worse, the TV will just turn on by itself after it's off for a bit. It does this in the middle of the night and then starts playing the awful music. The only thing that's worked to fix it was just to unplug the TV.

The ridiculously beautiful display is unfortunately overshadowed by unacceptably poor performing software and subpar customer service. I am a highly adapt tech troubleshooter, and this TV frustrated me to no end. I returned the first one and got another one in hopes that I got a dud and after returning the second one, I’ll just assume that there must be a batch of these televisions that have buggy software. I was willing to try my luck with a second one because the display is THAT beautiful. If you are lucky enough to get a version with good software, then you hit the jackpot. Congratulations! In the end, I found a Hisense mini LED for the same price which I’m using now and works without issue. The drawbacks of this TV outside of the software is it does not have an ethernet port. As far as the issues I experienced, if it wasn’t buggy software connecting to the Internet (hello this is 2026, why do we have devices that have issues connecting to a router?) then there were times where the remote simply would not connect to the TV and the TV would require being unplugged in order to turn off. The display was so beautiful that I may have chanced it a third time, but after finding the Hisense mini LED at the same price, I didn’t think it was worth it. If you are strictly against the Google TV software then the Hisense won’t work for you. Otherwise, because Vizio was purchased by Walmart, you will need a Walmart account in order to activate your Vizio TV. If they are able to iron out the software issues, this television is an unbeatable deal at this price point. Until then buyer beware, especially since there is an equivalent version out there for the same price.

Very disappointed with Vizio. You can’t download any other apps besides what they have. So example FanDual has to be streamed.
