[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best home purchase I have ever made! It cuts my cleaning time drastically. This works excellent just as a vacuum as well! This cleans and picks up better than any other vacuum I have ever and washes my hardwood floors better than anything else I have ever used. As a test, I used my regular vacuum (will not say which one but did cost almost twice as much as my Crosswave) and I then washed my floors with another brand floor cleaner. At this point I thought my floors were clean and they looked clean. I then used my Crosswave, my god I have been living in filth!!! Not only do I have a better clean but I have it in A LOT less time. I had never used Bissell before and I will never use another brand again. Thank you Bissell!!! Oh and I do have a German Shepard and two kittens.

I was going to purchase a carpet cleaner even though I have hardwood floors (not nice ones, but hardwood none the less). I have had them in the past and they work ok. After looking into the hardwood cleaners and watching some YouTube video comparisons, I finally decided to go with this Bissell CrossWave. I have been very happy with it. It does not leave the floor soaked like the carpet cleaner would have. The floor is actually clean when I am done. When I clean with my "mop" thingamajig, if I wiped the floor right after with my hand, it was always still dirty. That is because all it was doing was moving the dirt around and only picking up a small amount. This vacuum's up the dirt and cleans the floor. I no longer need to sweep first which saves me time. The only negative is that the dirt and dirty water go to the same place. But what else can they do?

Although it does pick up dirt and the water was nasty, it does not get close to the walls or anything. It leaves a gap while cleaning. Also I like to vaccum almost every night and found this very hard to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Bissell Crosswave for a month now. I have a German Shepherd and 95% of my home is hard wood flooring with area rugs. I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing. The pros, the Crosswave does a really great job of cleaning and vacuuming my hardwood floors. No streaking, dries really quickly, and great suction. I love how I'm able to do my floor and mats all in one. I own an 8x10 Ruggable area rug and unfortunately the Crosswave won't move across it ( the Crosswave's suction lifts the rug). Not a big deal because the Ruggable is machine washable. I'm always shocked at how dirty the water is after I use the Crosswave. The cons of the Crosswave, does not come close to edges and baseboards ( my biggest gripe). Difficult to do my hardwood stairs. Process to cleaning the machine after each use. Overall a great wet dry vac and worth the money. It really does do a nice job on my floors. #sweepstakes

I love that my area rugs dry really fast. I am amazed how well it cleanses my hardwood floors. Mopping my floors with a regular mop hurts my back and legs. Using the cross wave my back and legs do not hurt as bad. Sometimes the water will not release but eventually the water will release.

Having dogs and a all tile house isn't a good combo but with this bissell my floors hold a cleaner look longer. I think my favorite part is the fact your not dipping your mop continuously in a dirty bucket with the two different holding tanks. It's super easy to use and easy clean of the machine as well. If you need help setting up your machine or how to use it most definitely would suggest using the YouTube videos.

The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wish the tanks were a little larger. I highly recommend the crosswave!

I first cleaned my hardwood floors the way I always did, first vacuuming then washing with hardwood floor cleaner. I then went over them with the CrossWave and was amazed at how dirty my "clean" floors were. The water container was brown!!!! Now I have no need to vacuum and then wash the floor. This machine is fantastic. I recommended it to my future daughter-in law, and she loves it, too. It makes cleaning floors a pleasure.

I was visiting my daughter a few months ago and she had invested in a Crosswave and I didn't know that there were cleaners that did BOTH vacuum and mop!! I contemplated since it was a pretty penny BUT well worth every penny!!!! I actually clean my floors every other day!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I read some of the bad reviews, but they are not reading the directions regarding the streaks.
