The hardest part of cleaning the floors now is having to move the furniture. I used to have to scrub on the floor with a Swiffer wet jet so hard that I broke the handle. The only issue is the reservoir is a bit small so you need to empty it often, but other than that it's awesome.

I don't need anything that big nor could I afford it. Per the advice of a friend we bought the Bissell CrossWave. I absolutely LOVE it. My floors haven't been this clean since we installed them. We don't have any qualms about dropping and doing 20!

I was going to purchase a carpet cleaner even though I have hardwood floors (not nice ones, but hardwood none the less). I have had them in the past and they work ok. After looking into the hardwood cleaners and watching some YouTube video comparisons, I finally decided to go with this Bissell CrossWave. I have been very happy with it. It does not leave the floor soaked like the carpet cleaner would have. The floor is actually clean when I am done. When I clean with my "mop" thingamajig, if I wiped the floor right after with my hand, it was always still dirty. That is because all it was doing was moving the dirt around and only picking up a small amount. This vacuum's up the dirt and cleans the floor. I no longer need to sweep first which saves me time. The only negative is that the dirt and dirty water go to the same place. But what else can they do?

The crosswave saves me so much time and energy, no more back aches to still have a dirty floor. There is something that screams "my house in clean!!" when you can walk around your house barefoot and not have to dust your feet off before you get in bed, haha. I love it.

I don't know why you are asking me to review this product. I have not even received it! Very poor customer service when it comes to delivery. The cleaning products and replacement filter ordered at the same time was delivered 2 weeks ago. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift and when I called about anticipated delivery, I was advised that it would not arrive until after Christmas. I wanted to cancel the order so that I could purchase a new gift for my son but was advised that I could not cancel. So my son goes without the gift he asked for Christmas. Thank you Bissell! Will not order from you online and advising others not to order online so nice Your company does not keep to the delivery dates stated when you purchase online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been on an endless search for a machine that can clean our floors (tile and laminate) without having to drag out the mop and bucket which only moves dirty water to a different place. We live on a ranch and the amount dust that settles on all surfaces is amazing. Add 5 dogs to the mix (2 of which are long-haired that shed 2X a year) and you will need a good machine. We were surprised at how effected the CrossWave is. It picks up everything in it's path and uses very little water to do so. What used to take a full 90 minutes is now accomplished in half the time. If you add a scented cleaning solution your place will smell great Since it works so good on non-porous floors we figured it would fail to clean a stain on a throw rug. To our surprised it cleaned up a spilled drink with no problem. Great machine for hard floors, and a decent machine for carpets. I would most likely buy a bigger machine designed for carpeting if we had any. Easy to clean, lightweight, and well worth the spend.

The CrossWave works better than any mop I've ever used. It cleans our tile floors great and cleaning the machine is a snap. I wish I found this product a long time ago #sweepstakes

This reduces the need to sweep, wipe up, or anything other than turning this unit on and vacuuming and cleaning your mess right up. Then it also dries it up making it a breeze to clean up spilled messes like cereal, accidents from pets, etc. LOVE IT!!!
