Way too much water on hardwood floors, did not dry fast as a steam mop, and left horrible water streak marks everywhere, maybe I'm doing something wrong but bissell steam sweep works better on my hardwood floor and ceramic floor, this system doesn't even get sticky areas up at all, it's not worth the expense of close to $300 bucks to me. Sorry but I wanna send it back.

I purchased this a little over a month ago, and I am amazed and actually disgusted ;) Amazed at how amazingly time-saving and portable this vacuum and floor cleaner combo is, and so very disgusted (in a good way) on what this machine is cleaning from my floors and area rugs!!! WOW!!! I have had 'professional' cleaners every other week, (and me doing a vaccuum/steam alternate weeks), since I moved into my current home, and thought they have been doing a fabulous job....my Crosswave arrived the same morning that my cleaners were here, and we decided to give it a try. The amount of dirt and cat-hair this removed from my rugs was absolutely horrific!! We were also shocked at how dirty the water was after cleaning my wood and laminate floors, after they had used their good-old-fashioned bucket and mop. I can now no longer foresee using anything other than my crosswave to clean my floors and area rugs!!!!

Just purchased home with alot of hard floor surfaces and decided to purchase this. I love the fact that you can vacuum and mop at same time. Very convenient although i would vacuum if you have a lot of debris to pick up (personal preference) . Kitchens are crummy places so this is excellent for cleaning and mopping floor every night. Does good job of sucking up water. Clean up is nice when you use the auto clean. Still need to rinse out the dirty water reservoir and filter but sure beats cleaning the old mopheads! I love this little machine.

This little workhorse has really met my expectations so far. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but I've used it several times and it does a great job! To get in to specifics, we have no carpeting so I cannot speak to it's effectiveness on carpet but it cleans our laminate and granite flooring very well, leaving the surfaces clean and streak free. The vacuum does a great job of picking up debris as you are mopping. I love not having to vacuum first! Where it really helps us is cleaning up after our elderly incontinent dog. It picks up the puddle in one pass and scrubs the area clean. Pros:. The dirty water goes in to a separate reservoir so your cleaning solution does not get contaminated. It's quite easy to empty the dirty water and refill the cleaning solution. All the components are designed to break down quickly and easily for cleaning. Another plus is that this comes with everything you need to get started right away. It only took me a couple of minutes to get going! The kit had extra brushes and cleaning solution. The solution seems to work very well but you can obviously use any brand you want to. Cons:. In other reviews I read people mentioned that the dirty water cup is quite small and they have had to empty it several times to complete their home. That's a fair comment for a large home but for a smaller home like mine at approx. 1500 square feet I have been able to complete the whole house before needing to empty the cup. The system is very efficient with the dispensing of cleaning solution so as long as their isn't a ton of debris on the floor you'll be surprised how far you can get before having to add cleaning solution or empty the dirty water. Another negative comment some reviewers brought up was that the crosswave is not self cleaning. It's true that if you want this to last and do a good job every time it is necessary to remove three of the components and the dirty water filter and rinse them out after each use but, believe me, it's not that hard and well worth it. Most self cleaning systems don't work very well and you will end up having to do it by hand anyway if you want the tool to continue working properly. As I said earlier, all the components snap in and out very easily. Just read the instructions once and you won't have any problems. In summary, I would highly recommend the Bissell CrossWave. It appears to be very well made, sturdy, and it is very simple to operate. It is also quite lightweight and easy to maneuver. I feel at this price I have gotten a great bargain!

I love this machine. It did all it said it would. It cleaned and vacuumed my tile floors. It did a fantasic job. I cannot say enough about it. Love love it.

My floors are shining, and not streaked and they are clean. Did not have to use dirty water, and did not have to pull out the vacuum. Work saver and does a wonderful job!

I bought this a month ago to help with cleaning up after my 3 dogs.I have tile kitchen floor and it has a lot of crevasses. This has made it so much easier.

You need to use warm water with the soap, and then it is ok on tile floor. Sucking up sand or dirt. Still needs a Mopping to be Totally Clean but a Quick Cleanup of Messes or Wintery Boots this is a ok Choice.

This Bissell is absolutely amazing. It does a great job of cleaning floors. No need to sweep before cleaning floors. It doesn't leave a residue and leaves my wood floors shiny. It's very light and easy to use. It's also very easy to clean.

Purchased this Bissell floor cleaning system to clean Vinyl floors. It works great and after adjusting the cleaning mixture we have no streaks and a good clean floor.
