It works very well and I am pleased with it. However, I should have made a more serious search because I now know that there is a similar article without an electrical cord which I would have preferred, but I enjoy the one I bought.

I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but I bought it anyway. We live in an apartment and I'm a clean freak. After 2 years of hand scrubbing this appliance pulled out an unbelievable amount of ick.
