You require an account providing all the users data so you can, according to the terms, sell it to. 3rd parties just to be able to use it as a TV. Will never buy another Vizio even though I have bought several. TV seems fine, the scam is not. This opinion is all over Reddit.

I should have paid more attention to the reviews. The streaming on this vizio is weak at best. constant buffering of live broadcasts. It was easy to set up and picture is good but the constant buffering is annoying at best. Not good for live broadcast streaming.

item would not sync up with the internet Wi-Fi. it appeared like it did when I first took it up, but continue to buffer and not make connection. I would go through and get the right channel. it would be fine while I was watching it, but if I tried to turn up the volume on the TV it would freeze and continue to buffer. I added the app to my phone. I would have to use the remote for part of it, but when it started buffering, I had to use the app off my phone to reset the channel the volume the show. frequently it would have to go through up to nine commercials before I could do anything. NOT WORTH THE STRESS! ULTIMATELY RETURNED FOR REFUND.

It’s a cheap television. Nowhere near the quality of the Vizio 4k series. Installed it in my media studio to have 24/7 sports on. Out of the box it had a couple of dead pixels and occasionally crackling speaker. Awful motion blur is present for sports. However it works for a background tv so I’ll keep it. It requires a Vizio account which I find extremely annoying. Don’t pay more than $100 and you’ll probably be satisfied.

Software has had issues. Froze twice already. Picture freezes and the remote was worthless. Nice Tv till that happened. I am beginning to not like Smart TVs. They mess up too frequently. I wish somebody made just a dumb tv you could add the system you want. Apple, Amazon , etc. not sure I will buy another Vizio.

Great picture great of everything really it’s really good. I was having a little bit of a problem, but then I got it with the channels and the guys and how to, but we got it. I suggested buying the pictures good the colors are good. Everything I know I recommend it. The price is good to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my TV when my older one was hit by lightning 3 months ago. I went straight to the store and Vizio TV’s and chose the one I wanted! Last year the TV went out in the living room. My husband decided he wanted a LG TV. I told him my thoughts, but he said he wanted to get it. Each and every time we have issues with it, I remind him that my Vizio is working great! In the future I don’t think he will be the decision maker for the next TV! It’s going to be a Vizio!

It is constantly turning itself on, so seems possessed. And it doesn't connect to our cable system. All I can get to is Netflix, so I have to go to our old TVs to watch my recording shows. I don't have TV to spend my life watching it. No wonder our country is in such bad physical shape and the life expectancy dropped.

I would recommend this for anyone who is getting their first flatscreen TV for themselves or a gift for a neighbor who has helped you out or a family member out as a birthday Christmas present. For better sound of better quality I highly recommend this. The 3-D capabilities are wonderful. The picture is bright and you are able to see what you need to very easily. The motion is smooth along with the easy set up of what the smart things app and the LED back lights really helps. bring the pressure bright and the live so you can see and understand what is going on your TV at that particular time.
