I bake all the time from scratch but tired this mix for Christmas cookies. This mix makes Delicious sugar cookies! Evwryone loved them, even me - and I am picky about baked goods since I bake every week of the year!

The five pouches inside the box are packaged in clear and non-decorated bags. They do not have the regular design nor do they list the baking instructions.

I haven't quite figured them out yet, but adding 1 bit of lemon makes them real good. I would love them to be like the kind you buy premade, practice i guess.

I've been buying this cookie mix for years. It tastes great plus it's a really good price. I buy a couple of extra boxes to use throughout the year because you can only buy these cookie at Christmas time.

These are such a fast easy cookie to make. They can be drop cookies, rolled cookies or even bar cookies. With the stick of real butter you use it them they are extra good! I love to roll them in cinnamon and sugar before baking them.

When you are used to cooking from scratch for decades, trusting a box mix is questionable. However, these were wonderful. The flavor was good, the dough easy to work with. Will definitely use these again.

Ingredient list wrong. The cookies tasted fine for boxed cookies. However, I specifically ordered these because the box doesn't list milk in the allergen list online. Then I check them in person and they have milk. My son has a dairy allergy and was very excited for these.

I've used this product for years. As an amateur baker, I appreciate the product's consistency; I never wonder if the resulting mixed product will give me different results. I just recently made 3 batches. The instructions have always said to add 3 tbsp of flour for rolled cut out cookies, which I always do; if it's not on the bag now, I hope they correct that. The only problem I've ever had with them is some spreading if I let the dough get too warm, but I cut out and bake cookies at 375 for 9 minutes. I'll add a minute or three for my sister's because she likes them dark, but if the dough temp is right, cookies will hold their shape well. About temp: I refrigerate my dough and pull them out an hour or two before cooking, the microwave the dough for 12 seconds to soften it. The outside will be warmer than the inside, so I knead the dough so the cooler center cools down the outside and it's all pliable. They usually don't spread unless I've really let the dough get too warm. Lastly, I'm going to get Silpat baking mats to help with spreading. My family, friends and even students have always love the cookies I make from this product. I use vanilla and almond flavors in my powdered sugar or Royal icing, and, well, yum! The large box at Sam's club that comes with 5 bags of cookie mix is terrible. You only add a stick of butter and 1 egg for drop cookies or add 3 Tbs of flour for cutout cookies. The recipe makes them so dry. It needs to have some liquid added to be able to roll it out to something. I tried to do the drop cookies and they ended up cooking to just a giant blob of half cooked mess. Very disappointed. I have used the peanut butter bag mix and had such great luck but the sugar cookies were terrible.

Wanted this item for holidays... advertized for great price. Charged for it and supposed to be shipped. When order showed up, item was nor included. Had to call for a refund. WHY WAS I CHARGED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Tried to reorder and was told OUT OF STOCK.
