I am eanting to make lemon sugar cut out cookies using the BC sugar cookie mix. Can i just add lemon flavor to the mix or is there something special i need to do?

Like everyone else, I followed the directions and they were so disgusting. I couldn’t even serve them. The worst cookies I’ve ever had. I don’t understand how this is still even being sold. The reviews are terrible.
