[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I wanted to write a glowing review about how much I love Betty Crocker because I am entranced by all of the vintage advertisements and I have several vintage cookbooks with her name on them after visiting the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis and reading the book Finding Betty Crocker. But I digress. I couldnt tell you the last time I used cookie mix, and Im disappointed with how these turned out. Even though I followed the directions to use a lower temperature because my Wilton baking sheets are non-stick, but the slightly high cook time because I was making the tablespoon instead of teaspoon size, the cookies cake out overcooked on the bottom and just barely baked on top. They taste as good as they can considering the above, and they were easy to make. Maybe I just need new baking sheets?

What happen to the old recipe? Why are the cutout cookies recipe been removed? Cutout cookies are very popular nowadays and it is such a disappointment to hear others are having challenges making cutout cookies with the new recipe. This was my “go to” for all my cutout cookies. Now I have to find another alternative or make them from scratch.

I love you so much I can swim in any shape I want using a cookie cutter and with frosting it just tastes even more delicious is so soft and so good and so easy to make I really recommend this to you guys I'm not a first-time user so coming from me will be good XOXO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a boxed mix these are surprisingly good! My kids devoured these within 24 hours of baking them. I will absolutely get these again as it is a time saver if you need to whip up a quick batch to bring a treat to a dinner or get together. I did add a bit of cinnamon to give it a little extra as my family loves cinnamon.

The additional ingredients are listed on the back so you can ensure that you can purchase while at the store buying this mix. They are just as good or if not better than measuring out all the ingredients.

I'm not a big fan of cookie mixes, I really love to bake and I do prefer to make them from scratch. But I buy these around the holidays for the kids. I dont really care for cutout cookies and I dont like decorating that much so this is enough to make a small batch for the kids to decorate.

I always have two bags on hand because it is so versatile, you can ice them, make cookie cups, bake a sheet and make a cookie cake or crumble it on ice cream Quick treat

Does it really get any better than the classic Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix! This brings back memories of making these cookies with my grandma when I was kid for Christmas. These cookies hold a special place in my heart and I definitely recommend adding these to family traditions! 

I like the mix for times when I am busy and need a quick rollout recipe. As others have recommended, chill the dough before rolling. My only complaint is the teeny tiny writing on direction packet. I'm online just to read directions in an eye-friendly font size.
