It can be baked as a traditional Cookie or rolled and pressed into shapes/letters/numbers. I have “ number cookie cutters” , so when they have a birthday I make cut out cookies of how old they are. I use the Betty Crocker mix every time! It is easily and.requires less than time than starting from scratch and makes just the right amount of cookies! Easy and tastes good too!

I've used this product for several years now and never had an issue. Always worked perfectly. This year I bought the 21 oz pkg which indicates that the butter needs to be melted, which I did. I could tell right away that disaster was at hand. As other users say, the dough was crumbly and wouldn't blend. BTW, this website calls for softened butter, not melted as the package indicates. So which is it? The package I bought is larger than previous years and I was wondering if the butter and egg amounts needed to be increased. Bottom line: I made the cookies but it took a lot of extra effort. They taste OK and are OK for decorating, but they're not what I was accustomed to based on past experience.

Since were refraining from going to malls even though theyre open, they cant get their favorite sugar cookie. I picked these up and tried them out. Their great! Mine came out a bit crunchier than the mall once but their still yummy! The icing is a great touch!

This cookies were so good and easy to make it met my expectations and I would definitely buy it again. The instructions were a bit unclear but that was all. It’s also affordable and I made about 30 or a bit more just because I made them small but that still a lot and I love it.

Like other years before I bought this mix and never have i ever had an experince like tonight follower instructions for cut out cookies to do with my kids and was so dry and crumbly so we decided ok we will try the other bag and same issue!!!! Out of two 17.5oz bags we were able to get 6 cookies!!!!! Has the recipe changed now im stuck with 8 more packages of the sugar cookies that I will not use again
