[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix to make some cookies with my little granddaughters. The cookies were great, easy to make, and really quick for the kids to enjoy. It wasn't needed, but I let them put icing on the cookies just to have some fun with decorating. The best part of it all was when we ate them. They were so good!!

For those trying to figure out the dry dough, I figured it out. The butter was not soft enough even though I left it out for more than an hour. I just kept putting the mix in the microwave for ten seconds at a time until I was able to mix it and make usable dough. Not the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had but tasty.

Betty Crocker, you have it going on with this Sugar Cookie mix. Better yet, all of the cookies in these bags are delicious. I bring them to every outing I go to and I come home empty-handed. The people just rave about how scrumptious they are. I always add two tablespoons of flour along with one egg and one stick of butter. After mixing them a bit, I put the stainless steel bowl in the oven for a few minutes to make sure the butter is melted and remix them. They turn out perfect. A Cookies. Great Job Betty Crocker!

I don’t know what you did to this cookie dough but it is horrible. I used to use this to make cut out cookies by now you can’t even make a regular cookie from it. It is so sticky and gooey I thee away two batches even after adding extra flower it was impossible to use.

I've used this product for several years now and never had an issue. Always worked perfectly. This year I bought the 21 oz pkg which indicates that the butter needs to be melted, which I did. I could tell right away that disaster was at hand. As other users say, the dough was crumbly and wouldn't blend. BTW, this website calls for softened butter, not melted as the package indicates. So which is it? The package I bought is larger than previous years and I was wondering if the butter and egg amounts needed to be increased. Bottom line: I made the cookies but it took a lot of extra effort. They taste OK and are OK for decorating, but they're not what I was accustomed to based on past experience.

What happened to this cookie mix ? 17.5oz bag, no directions to make cut out cookies. I worked w mix in sm balls, beat until smooth. Put in refri to chill so I could try to cut dough out. Still chillin bc it remains very soft. Wow? This was my go to cookie mix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend this cookie it is easy to make and very tasty. It reminds me of my grandma's she made when I was growing up. It's very easy to make. You can also put icing or sprinkles on them for those special occasions.

This is such a versatile cookie mix. I use them along with spices to make spice cookies in the winter. In the summer I take zest juice of 1 lemon along with 1/2 tablespoon sugar cream those with the butter before mixing in the egg then the dry mix. Then, after the cookies have baked top with mix made from zest juice of 1 lemon 1/2 cup powdered sugar. If lemonade were a cookie, this would be what it tastes like.
