I bought this vitamin C serum at the suggestion of a friend a few months ago. I just reordered my second bottle. I had a sunspot growing across my forehead from sun exposure and after two months of nightly use of Tru Skin vitamin C serum, the noticeable sun damage spot is gone. This stuff is fabulous. I ordered another to give as a gift for a friend.

So far so good! I've been using the serum day and night for the past 3 days. I'm 31 so I have a couple of sun spots (yay). I think my sun spots look a little lighter. My face feels more moisturizer. I'm pleased with the result considering the product cause a breakout and it wasn't expensive.

My skin has been looking a lot better since I started using this serum, but to be honest, I started using a couple of different skincare products around the same time that I started using this one so I cannot confirm that it is solely because of this product.However, I do really enjoy this product. I put it on in the mornings, after toner and before moisturizer, and my skin seems to brighten after use. The only way I can describe it is it`s as if it "wakes up" my skin. To put it on, all that I do is follow the directions and apply a small amount of the serum to my face using a cotton round. I personally have not experienced any redness or irritation due to this product either and I have been using it for well over a month.

Not terrible. But not the that great. It's really chalky. With some serums, I feel like my skin is glowing and I read the reviews for this and was hoping this would be one of those products (I wanted more for my dollar). But my skin doesn't look any better whatsoever and I've been using it for about a month. I'm super bummed but I don't necessarily think it's a bad product. Just doesn't work for me. (I'm italian American and a little Irish. Blue eyes. Blonde hair but lightish medium skin. Also I'm going to try the Super Serum and see if that works. I really like this company, and they care about their customers.

Definitely would not sub this for a moisturizer if you have dry skin but this is amazing if you have combination or oily acne prone skin. I use this at night and in the morning under my makeup and it really has cleared up my skin and made my super oily skin less oily

So, this serum did not work well for my skin and I originally wrote a one star review. Erica at Truskin Naturals read that review and reached out to me. She said she was sorry to hear about my negative experience and was going to give me a full refund. She also asked for additional information from me to see if another one of their products may be better suited for my skin. I replied and she then suggested that the amount of Vitamin C in this Serum (20%) was possibly a bit too much for my skin and offered to send me a bottle of their Hyaluronic Skin Serum (which only has 5% Vitamin C) free of charge to see if it would work better for me. I, of course, accepted her generous offer and am currently waiting to receive it. The fact that this company cares so much about their customers really says a lot. For that reason I decided to edit my review and give this product 5 stars. It may not have worked for me, but based on many of the reviews, it definitely seems to work for others.

I was hoping with all the great reviews that I would like this serum, but I'm disappointed. I am 37 and have pretty sun damaged skin and am starting to wrinkle! I've been using this for 2 weeks now and see no difference. Perhaps I need to wait longer, but it seems to be drying my face out and making my forehead slightly break out. It's def not for me!

I am liking both the serum and the moisturizer. I am glad I tried it. It feels good, no reaction to my sensitive skin, could be a placebo??? No one has said 'ÄúHey, your skin looks great!'Äù However, I am counting on it making a difference..I am ready to try the facial toner.

Got it to improve my skin pigmentation. But I don`t see any changes for the three weeks that I`ve use it. On a positive note, I have noticed less acne breakouts since the first week on. Just bought a derma roller to see if it`s my skin that`s not absorbing serum. Will update then.

I just started my second bottle of this serum and lemme tell you what... it's heaven sent! All my life I've never had an issue with acne until (for some reason) last year my hair line and forehead broke out. I picked and picked at it for months. So I did some research and after reading reviews I went for this and will never ever regret the decision! Now, granted, I did start using a dermaroller (sdara) the same time I started the serum. So, the mixture of the two definitely worked beyond belief. For a face wash, I use humane benzoyl peroxide. It's been my regimen since about a month and a half ago and will continue this until I have a reason not to!
