Product requires extra care from stores selling it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The soil is composed of quality organic ingredients, but the bagged product seems to require being stored out of rain/sun otherwise you risk all that organic goodness going anaerobic and getting rather smelly. Which seems to be what happened with the one I picked up. Not the manufacturers fault, although maybe additional venting would be beneficial, but something to be aware of. I still plan on using the soil, I'll just let it dry out real good in the sun and fresh air breeze.

So excited for this soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have have a green thumb whatsoever so I need all the help I can get. I always wanted to start a mini raised garden to make some fresh veggies that I like. This soul made the growing process so much easier. I didn’t feel anxious that I was going to kill everything right away because the soul had everything the plants needed!

Looks like clean soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added to my pepper plants and tomatillo plants. It's too early to rate the soul as far as the plant does, but the soil looked good I did not find any plastic or rocks which I have found in other soil like miracle grow. As far as the plants perform only time will tell.

Raised bed must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fifth bag now we just added some nutrients to our garden. We’ve had raised beds for a couple years now and we’re just about to get into our spring garden. This is a brand we love and have also used the year before. I love the ingredients and it has provided some happy plants!

Healthy plants, eco-friendly packaging, and great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Back to the Roots ‘Better’ Raised Bed Mix is rich, fluffy, and easy to work with. My plants took to it immediately, showing stronger growth and vibrant leaves within weeks. The packaging is sturdy and eco-friendly, making storage simple. It holds moisture well without getting soggy, and there’s no unpleasant odor—just a natural, earthy scent. For the quality and results, it’s worth every penny.

Yay for good soil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice to find a quality soil for my veggies and flowers. I’m still new to gardening but I do know that good soil matters. I planted my annual flowers and tomatoes in the raise bed soil. So far, they are thriving.

Perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my project, this was exactly the right size and at a decent price. I appreciate the organic ingredients to give my organic plants a great start. Also appreciated is the Made in the USA label. I know my prized vegetable and fruit garden is well protected. #freesample from Social Nature without obligation.

Organic Rasied bed mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Back to the Roots Organic Raised Bed Mix because I wanted to try a different soil to combat this heat. I do not have a raised bed but I repotted my recently bought cherry tree. It says that this tree appreciates to be well watered. I am not good at watering my plants , sad to say. With this triple digit heat that does not let up I thought that this new mix of soil would help to retain the water better. And I am glad to say that it is holding on to the water it gets. I would not recommend this soil for plants that can't stand soggy roots. My tree has flowers on it and I noticed its first cherry! I am happy with the results and not wanting to lose my special plants I think that I will buy this again for certain areas that just bake in the heat. Otherwise the regular soil would be fine. #trynatural

Gardening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The “Better” Raised Bed Mix by Back To Roots is a great option for my garden. The soil is evenly textured and feels fluffy. There are no large chunks or clumps which makes it a lot easier to spread. There are also no “fillers” like rocks or other materials though I did find an occasional twig. The soil drains well which is great for my vegetables. I love that the soil mix is organic, making it a healthier option for my family.
