I've planted some veggies, and herbs in my raised garden bed, and they are all thriving in this soil. I would definitely purchase this brand again!

This particular mix is great for growing my fall veggies. I like the texture. You can see it is soft for planting. I love that this has plant food mixed in too, this gives my veggie plants a great start. This also has upcycled plant matter and it's made in the USA. Back to Roots is great for planting! They have really livened up my outdoor herb garden — my rosemary, sage and oregano are really thriving. I really like this soil and will definitely getting it once again!

I used the entire bag and layered it into my raised garden bad. Everything in there perked up, looked healthier, started sprouting blooms and the vegetation was tasty! The thing that surprised me the most was when I purchased it I placed it in my garage before bringing it to the yard because it was raining. While in the garage for 2 days there was a great deal of bugs that found their way out of the dirt.

I made this in a long planter to plant some chicken pasture seed and the seeds sprouted quickly and it grew great clover, grass, and pea sprouts for them! I forgot to take a picture of the grass and clovers that grew in the container and my chickens ate it all up quickly, so there is no picture, but I do love the ingredients in the dirt mix and I feel confident that it is safe for my chickens to eat! I haven't used it for flowers or food since I don't really have much to do at the time of year and no space, but will keep using it for my chickens!

It doesn't get dry and hard easily like some of the soil (soil only) and contains a lot nutritions that help plants stay moisturized and grow bigger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the organic raised bed soil and I like it. It seems to be good soil, drains well, no large chunks of dirt or debris. I’ve had it in my beds for a week now and the plants are growing well and are healthy so I can’t ask for more than that.
