[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The “Better” Raised Bed Mix by Back To Roots is a great option for my garden. The soil is evenly textured and feels fluffy. There are no large chunks or clumps which makes it a lot easier to spread. There are also no “fillers” like rocks or other materials though I did find an occasional twig. The soil drains well which is great for my vegetables. I love that the soil mix is organic, making it a healthier option for my family.

The price is so affordable we went back and got more. Pretty sure this will be our go to soil for our raised beds for now on!

The soil seems to hold water better than other brands I’ve used,which is great in the hot Texas weather. I would recommend this product.

It contained a rich soil mixed with a healthy amount of organic material, just as described on the packaging. It is ready to use as is and will undoubtedly provide a healthy environment for the flowers and herbs I have transplanted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loooove to garden but I'm stuck with very little in the way of square feet! I have two gardening boxes for vegetables in the warmer months and a few pots that use to grow herbs on my windowsill when it's chilly. I needed a change out of the soil I was using and decided to give this a go. It's AMAZING!! For my inside herbs, I plant them in a plastic pot then put that pot into a ceramic pot without holes on the bottom. I then fill it with about 2" of water to let the herbs kind of water themselves. The mint and basil on my windowsill has exploded since the transplant. Great, rich, earthy-smelling soil that holds on to moisture and isn't super woodchippy (you ever get soil like that??). I can't wait to dump out my gardening boxes in a month's time and start sowing cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes!

I love the fact that the soil is all organic and does not contain chemicals like some other products. It gives you that piece of mind that the finish product will healthy to consume.
