Purchased this file cabinet for son as gift. Arrived timely in perfect condition; impressed with the reinforced packing bracers on the outside box as well as inside. Size allows for excellent full extension without tipping over, easy access to back of drawer. No noise, glides with weight. Holds hanging file folders, even with tabs, without any interference on top and sides. Has removable, adjustable folder brace that is easy to unsnap and move if needed; hold folders in place if drawer not full. Strong lock that works for both drawers. Comes in colors but ordered black and is nice high lustre matte finish. For all the elements and name-brand, the cost is excellent value compared to same elsewhere charging more than $80+.

We just replaced the Hirsh file cabinets we've been using for 10+ years because we needed a color change --- my husband and I both worked from home until recently and these are the best cabinets we've found at an affordable price. Some are too flimsy for everyday use and others are very good professional cabinets that cost a fortune. Delivery was prompt and when we called SAMs Club because one had a dent, they took care of us to our satisfaction immediately. Recommend!

Cabinet is strong, durable and made to hold numerous files. Great product for home office.

So far, this has been a great experience with this cabinet. It comes with drawer latches and a lock. It's not a Steelcase, but it does very good for home use.

We ordered 2 of these filing cabinets to sit side-by-side, though they were putty & NOT the black that is listed on the product for review. Three things I like about these filing cabinets: 1) the 25" depth (so many are shallower) 2) the "lock" that is available to hold the files in place to keep them from spreading out when the cabinet isn't full & 3) the fact that the drawers slide smoothly in & out of the cabinets. We looked @ many others online & in stores, but could not find the value for the quality.

This is a great filing cabinet. It looks nice and does not look cheap. It is pretty sturdy and taller than I expected, but it has deep drawers. There was no damage from shipping; however it did arrive 3 days late. Although I think they should be more like $75 instead of $90, compared to prices for other filing cabinets, it was a good deal for the money.

We purchased this for our home office. It holds a lot of files and the drawers operate smoothly and quietly. The best feature is that the drawers open enough to reach the files in the back of the drawer. I had wanted white but that wasn't an option so we got gray. It's a very pale gray so I'm very happy with it.

Ordered 2. 1 arrived in proper condition. 2nd was bent, but with no exterior indication with the box. This may pass OK for light home use, but, in my opinion, is by no means "Heavy Duty Comercial". I don't believe it would endure in an active office. Non-committal, insofar as a recommendation.

This is a good solid file cabinet. The 3rd I have bought. Bought 2 in 2010 at $79.88 each. I would give it more stars, but the bottom was dented and the significant price increase.. It was packaged well with no signs of damage to the packing so it had to have been damaged before it was packed. Fortunately, that did not impact the function of the file cabinet and given the hassle of a return, I am using it.
