The tv has a feature where it will turn into a movie mode to automatically adjust to make the screen more movie friendly. I do think it makes it better to watch. The TV also has a feature where it will turn the screen Off if it senses there's no on screen movement. This helps with energy saving. It turns right back on where you left it as soon as you push a button on the remote. The set up was relatively simple. It's a big TV, so I, as a smaller woman, could not maneuver it myself. But with two people, it was pretty straightforward. Of course it has smart apps and those are always a necessity. But a great feature that I love on this LGTV is the access to LG channels.
