The tv has a feature where it will turn into a movie mode to automatically adjust to make the screen more movie friendly. I do think it makes it better to watch. The TV also has a feature where it will turn the screen Off if it senses there's no on screen movement. This helps with energy saving. It turns right back on where you left it as soon as you push a button on the remote. The set up was relatively simple. It's a big TV, so I, as a smaller woman, could not maneuver it myself. But with two people, it was pretty straightforward. Of course it has smart apps and those are always a necessity. But a great feature that I love on this LGTV is the access to LG channels. Other TVs have their own version of this, but I find that LG has a great variety of channels. Over all, great product. I was given this product discounted in exchange for my honest review.

Filmmaker mode let's you watch movies how they are supposed to be watched, and the other video settings adapt perfectly to whatever you're viewing. Another HUGE advantage is the cloud gaming. Even if you don't have a console, you can stream Xbox games directly on the TV, just pair a Bluetooth controller and you are good to go! Purchased this TV a month ago to replace another brand’s 75 inch television. My biggest complaint is how slow it is to go from power on to the program I want to be watching. We use Direct TV and have the APP on the LG tv. Often it will not even load the APP and always takes forever to load when it does. Compared to our old TV which took seconds, this takes minutes. Not thrilled with the google platform or the responsiveness of this TV. I should have saved the box, I would return it and try another manufacturer.

Buyer beware: Magic remote not included with QNED82AAA The image is nice for 60hz tv, lits of options to smooth things out for older productions too. the sound quality like all flatscreens, leaves a lot to be desired, but it does at least have an optical out so you can juse hook up surround of bookshelf speakers to your suiting.

Garage bought mine and it lasted 16 months and black screen of death and LG laughed and said to bad . Goofs
