I am happy with the purchase; the console looks sleek, and the buttons on the Joy-Cons are bigger than the Joy-Con 1's, along with the thumbsticks. The screen being much larger than the Switch 1's display makes a HUGE difference. It's quite a nice upgrade. The dock is also much improved and better than the OG Switch dock! As far as games, I would say the leap is noticeable. Mario Kart does feel next gen; Street Fighter and Cyber Punk obviously look and feel fantastic. Fast Fusion is simply a beautiful game on the Switch 2. I look forward to experiencing games like Metroid Prime 4 in 120 FPS! Final thoughts: if you already have a Switch 1 or an OLED, you aren't missing that much yet; do not panic or feel the need to overspend. If you get the Switch 2 this early, just know what you're getting into! There aren't going to be many games to play; you most likely may find yourself playing your Switch 1 games still anyway. The long-term value of this console is there, but right now it feels more like a phone upgrade compared to the Switch 1 due to the lack of game selection! Enjoy your Switch 1. If you are waiting to buy this, you will be fine!

It was pretty good overall with new features and stuff, but it’s not as big of an upgrade from the switch one. It only gets 60 FPS on 90% of the games and it’s not very much faster and it only has a little bit more processing power in the GPU. I got a PS five instead.

Loving the console so far! Battery life definitely isn’t the best, but the image quality definitely explains it. As long as you have a portable charger, you would be golden! Size-wise, it’s so much more ergonomic if you have bigger hands, but still would recommend a grip case for added support. I used to have to carry an external portable case for my Nintendo Switch OLED, but with the Nintendo Switch 2, I have no issues with catching smaller details while playing in handheld mode! I would highly recommend it if you have the funds for it.

This is a fantastic item from Nintendo! I have purchased Nintendo items in the past -- from the Gameboy Advance to the Wii and now to the Switch 2. The ability to play in 3 modes is great; and having access to games on older consoles (even some originally owned by conpetitors such as Sega Genesis) through the Expansion Packs is mindblowing!!! I am going to enjoy my Switch 2 for years!

Overall, the Switch 2 is an incredible successor to the Nintendo Switch. It's much more powerful, has a far better screen, and now that it uses Micro SD Express cards instead of standard Micro SD, it has far faster storage as well. My only complaints are that on launch, the software appears to be slightly unstable, with me having one game crash and one OS crash since launch 3 days ago, as well as that the battery is much worse than the original Switch, only lasting between 2 and 4 hours according to Nintendo. Despite that though, I would still recommend the Switch 2 100%.

dont let the misinformation of the internet trick you ! this screen can go tow to toe with the orignals oled version the hardware is fantastic the mouse tracking works better than a real high end gaming mouse on rough surfaces. the magnetic joycons are amazing and sturdy. just like the original switch if your child is a hethen/rough i wouldnt recommend giving them electronics especially this.

Absolutely love the feel and look of it. It's already so much better than the Switch 1 in terms of graphic and loading speed, but keep reading for some more information ♥ I was a bit nervous transferring my data from the Switch 1 to the Switch 2 as some games such as Pokemon games and Animal Crossing were completely transferred and not left in both like Mario games. Keep in mind, everything turned out great. The data was linked up immediately and everything is there. It's a bit scary in the way that it's worded, but nothing gets deleted. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I have been! PS, you can buy the physical games and they're not just a hidden digital download. I know there's a lot of misinformation, but I bought the physical version of Mario Kart World!
