The Nintendo Switch 2 has been amazing so far - especially when transferring your switch games. I'm in the process of updating some of my gaming library, having fun playing both switch 1, switch 2 titles and enjoying the new features. If you get the chance; try it out and see if the Switch 2 is for you .

I'm rating this 5 stars across the board because of the demand of the Switch 2 online generally causing it to be sold out so quickly, and the fact that storefronts that do have it come from sellers who overprice their stock. In this case, the Switch 2 was available for me to buy, and was priced fairly at the intended retail price.

I went in with little expectations as I really didn't care for the launch titles. Long story short, Zelda BOTW is absolutely stunning, 60fps, HDR, no slowdown anywhere, higher resolution, it's much better than I thought it would be. The same applies for Tears of the Kingdom and a slew of other original titles that got patched for the 2, very impressive. The new Gamecube section is great, very sharp, very responsive, zero lag, and the gamecube controller is excellent - and it works in normal games as well! Their online service is much zippier, no more waiting and chunky lags. The console itself is connecting at a much higher speed then my original switch (40 vs 250 ), and that's on day one with the servers getting slammed. All in all I'm much more impressed then I thought I'd be, I can't wait to see what the future holds with native titles.

Honestly, for the price, it’s absolutely fantastic. The screen and handheld mode looks beautiful. In dark mode, it looks fantastic as well. I really don’t have any complaints. Did a great job. It showed up at 5:58 in the morning. Meanwhile, everything are your orders for GameStop didn’t show up until either Friday or Saturday. Actually, some stuff didn’t show up till Sunday so Walmart did a great job pre-order wise been doing a lot of cyberpunk play through and unless I’m in handheld mode, I don’t really have an issue with frame rate drops and doc mode runs just fine I hear in liberty city in the DLC There’s issues but from my understanding of what’s going on in that DLC I kind of would expect it and the developers for that game never even said that it would run a solid 30 in the DLC. They just said that it could run the DLC if you’re hesitant about getting one I would probably wait until there’s more games out that are exclusive titles. But if you already like love your switch or your old and switch, it’s a much better upgrade and if you’re worried that the screen is not gonna look as good as your olde switch I wouldn’t worry about it. The screen honestly looks absolutely stunning, especially with HDR. The console itself feels different from the original one. I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels a lot better in the hands and the original one. The joy cons also feel a lot better in the hands. I do wish the joysticks were a little bit bigger, but I do have big hands, so it is easier to hold in hand on mode than the original but if you were to have something like a satisfied ribbon or something like that, it’ll probably be more ideal. I have one ordered if I remember, I can come an update when I get mine, but mine has not shipped yet so I’m still waiting on that. The battery life is the one thing that I dislike the most in hand town Road if I’m lucky I get like two hours but typically it seems like I get about an hour and a half to hour 45 minutes which really sucks.

Very happy with the performance of the Switch 2! Have played several games already with zero lag, and the games look absolutely stunning with updated graphics. The new joy cons also fit perfectly into your hands, not to big and not to small. Looking forward to many years of gaming with this!

I purchased this console day 2 of its release, and I got really lucky. It was a short window to purchase it, around 12-1am MST on June 10th. They sold out very quickly, I managed to only pay the initial price of $450. Unfortunately, I don't think these consoles will see a price drop anytime soon. If they come back in stock within the $500-$550 range, event without MKWorld included, I'd still buy it, they are very scarce. As far as the actual product: packaging, the box, cables, dock, joycon, and the grip were all neatly organized. Felt so good to finally unbox the newest Nintendo console. It always does. Setting up is very easy, although if you bought an OLED bundle, and you didn't apply the bundle to your OLED when you got it, you won't be able to do the system transfer until you "register" the game. Can be done on the Nintendo e-shop. If you can't system transfer, the only thing you'll be losing is your screenshots and videos. You can transfer virtual game cards easily if you sign in with your same Nintendo account. The console is powerful, noticeably so, and it feels great to use in handheld. The joycon sticks are bigger, allowing for more precise input for games such as MKWorld. The battery life is unfortunately not as good as the OLED, however, you're still able to play a game such as MKWorld for about 2.5 hours. Scrolling is much faster, most noticeable in the e-shop. Everything just feels more satisfying on this new system. Overall, this console is a must buy for nintendo fans, and MKWorld might be one of the best video games ever made. I wouldn't buy it if the price was over $700, but I'd definitely buy it any lower than that.

I'm not sure that this question is relevant to this purchase. :-) I decided over a year ago that I wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch 2 in order to play proprietary Nintendo games, especially the Legend of Zelda series. I am a newbie to this system, but so far it seems to do exactly what I want, and very well.

It’s a switch! Newer upgrades, better graphics, etc. console runs games a lot better than the switch one. Feels better in handheld mode compared to the original. Nothing at all wrong with the switch 1, but if you can swing the additional money for the switch 2, you won’t regret.

Let's be honest, the Switch 2 feels more like an evolution than a revolution but that's quite alright with me. It's been 8 years since Nintendo released "new" hardware and this feels like the natural evolution of the product. The larger screen, upgraded kickstand, and a more ergonomic set of Joycons all make this a must buy if you're itching for the best Nintendo experience.

This console is the best I don’t care what people say about it being too expensive it’s perfectly fine the ps5 is 500 so why can’t the switch 2 be 450 this console is a masterpiece the comfort of being able to play wherever at 60 fps with no frame drops and being 4k docked this is worth the 150 dollar price change because it us powerful and comfortable and Mario kart world is a masterpiece it’s worth 80 dollars it’s a blast to play with friends and family truly excellent console thank you Nintendo for this.
