Bought this for residential. Trex deck, stucco siding, vinyl fence, aluminum gutters, concrete/stone walkways. Easy to set up and run. Highly recommend!

Fantastic flow and pressure, I had my garage and driveway cleaned in no time!! Everything ran smoothly from start up until it finished. Highly recommend, this will last me for years I can tell it’s a beast!

I haven't used mine yet but my friend has the exact same model...starts everytime ...more then enough power even for tough jobs... I love simpson products...be smart ...love them too

I live in Oregon and have yearly moss growth on my driveway and landscape stones. Task complete with great results. Honda engine, CAT pump and Simpson aluminum frame, really what more could I of asked for…very happy.

Honda motor,cat pump,aluminum frame = Superb Simpson power washer. It starts easily and is seriously powerful. I bought my 1st Simpson in 1991...used it commercially for 21 years. Am retired now and wanted a reliable lighter yet powerful machine.The ALH3228-S is just that...

Overall it's a good pressure washer. Have approx 5 hrs on it. I did add an induction type hour meter for maintenance intervals. The Honda motor and CAT pump are great. Starts VERY easy with the nozzle removed and the trigger handle wedged open. Remember to crank down on the unloader to get the pressure you want. The frame, not so much. Tends to 'walk' when using. Within the 5 hrs, the 'feet' were worn down. I ended up pulling the feet off my 20+ year old pressure washer (that never wore out) and put them on the Simpson. Also used some Destaco type push/pull clamps to add brakes to the wheels so it won't move around. May end up adding some vibration isolators between the engine and frame like my old Craftsman pressure washer had. Used some 1.25" galv conduit and raised the handle up around 12". Added another hose hanger and a basket to put accessories. I'd buy it again at the price point.

the on-line information list the unit at 3,400 PSI. The manual indicates 3,200 PSI and the pump mfg says 3,000 PSI. The actual static pressure is 2,900 PSI The unit needs a un-loader. After 2 pulls to start, there is so much back pressure you have to trigger the gun to get it to start. Very un-safe!

Followed the directions for startup and ran for an hour or so to test it out. No issues at all. Lightweight and powerful. The directions say this but be sure to let water run through the nozzle (hold the trigger down with the water on) for 30 seconds before trying to start. Otherwise it will be difficult to pull the starter handle.

I replaced my electric pressure with this a couple of weeks ago, what a difference! The Honda engine fired up on the first pull as expected and the Cat Pump is smooth and powerful. I knew better to buy that electric pressure washer and should have purchased this first. The frame is sturdy and should last for many years. the various nozzles will take care of many jobs, thanks Simpson for putting together a great combo!

After good performance from a pressure washer purchased in 2001, I looked for a suitable replacement that would build on that success.
