Coming from a pioneer plasma, I was afraid the experience would not be as good…I was wrong. The set up and controls are also pretty straight forward, with easy to understand progressive prompts. The blue light reduction is a nice add which I quickly employed. Made an immediate difference. Nice job LG…you have a winner in the C5. Highly recommend.

Speakers are there but for good sound you need separate setup. The user interface needs a lot of improvement. That isn’t a big deal if you’re planning to use a streaming device. Overall, great TV!

We recently purchased this tv. The picture is excellent. The sound has several options for settings. I would say it is probably better than our previous 9 year old tv but it is different so it takes a little getting used to. One thing I wish the remote had is a dedicated mute button. On the LG remote you use the volume control to mute the tv. Sometimes it may come back to the previous volume but usually not.

The picture looks unreal — blacks are truly black, colors pop, and everything looks super sharp on the big screen. Games feel smooth and responsive with no lag that I can notice, even in fast action. Movies look like a theater at home, especially with HDR — dark scenes still show detail instead of turning into a gray mess. Overall, it’s a huge upgrade and I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a big OLED that delivers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our old 50 inch TV with OLED C5 77 inch and the difference is unimaginable. Picture quality of this OLED panel is out of this world with the perfect blacks that provides an amazing contrast ratio. Screen is super bright and is comfortable for daytime watching in a room with ambient light. Watching HDR content on this TV is quite an experience with the eye popping details. I am sensitive to soap opera effect but this TV handles motion very well with no signs of soap opera effect. The sleek design with thin bezels add to the immersive experience. In-built 2.2 channel speakers are adequate if you don't want to add external sound. I haven't tried gaming on it yet but the 144 Hz refresh rate makes it one of the best TVs out there for gaming.

Wow, every time it pans to the stars, I am floored. I didn't like the stutter, but LG has Tru Motion built in which fixes all those problems. Overall, great tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No TV is perfect, however for the money you are spending, I would assume better integration of the AI features as well as better overall OS features and customizability. However, picture is great and like any OLED the blacks and contrast are spectacular. If you can get this TV on a deal such as I have then you will have no real complaints (even though its on a deal, still very expensive). Oh and you should expect to get a sound system or sound bar if you are getting this TV, built in speakers not great.
