Immediately upon receiving and setting up my 77” C5, I started playing 4k HDR content and was blown away. I'm coming from a 2016 model from a competitor, and it was a high-end model at the time, and the difference in quality is staggering. It took a while to get used to the remote control, but once I did, it was a breeze. I though the 77" inch TV was perfect for our family room, which was fairly large and so this TV was a well-needed upgrade. The sound quality was fine, but I had our family room wired with speakers, so connecting it to an external amplifier was a breeze - otherwise, I would have used an LG soundbar as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the 77" C5, it is in a room with large windows on an adjacent wall and I haven't had any issues with the picture during the day, I often forget to turn on the "bright room" feature. I also really like the gaming hub overly, have always used consoles and have never been able to see FPS while playing, lots of neat features hiding in there I wasn't expecting and didn't see when researching.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my 7 year old LG OLED. I went from 65" B7A to a 77" C5. The difference is already apparent. The original is still a great set and is moving to the living room. But the increased size in my home theater setup is amazing. It's also much brighter, especially with HDR and Dolby Vision content. Upscaling from lower def content is also much more refined. All in all a great set. If I had one complaint it would be the new design magic remote. So far I'm not a fan. Clumsy layout to use, no mute button, and doesn't fit in my hand near as well. But this is a small issue as I don't use the remote day to day. Highly recommended.
