The perfect blacks and infinite contrast are still stunning to see, even if you’re used to the technology. Where the C5 really shines, and where I agree with the expert consensus, is in its brightness and color. Watching 4K HDR content (especially in Dolby Vision) is a transformative experience. Highlights pop with incredible vibrancy without washing out the rest of the image, and the color volume is outstanding. In my moderately bright living room, the C5's brightness is more than enough to provide a punchy, gorgeous image during the day, which is a huge step up from older OLEDs.

If you watch tv on basic apps or cable like spectrum, the picture is still good. i noticed more sharpness on the C5 then the C4. Also, for gamers, the 4 HDMI ports are great. it allows for me to have my xbox, switch, and soundbar to all be active with an extra port to spare. The apps on the TV are great as the TV supports everything I use from Crunchyroll to HBO MAX. Overall, this is a great TV. Super bright and perfect black. This is my first OLED so I am super happy with it.

Display is amazing even in our bright living room. It infact exceeded my expectations. We already have a C4 65’ tv that we bought 5 years ago which has become a part of our family and this just another terrific addition to our new home high roof living room wall. The LG C5 83-inch is a 4K UHD TV, so resolution is , with full support for 4K streaming, 4K Blu‑ray, and 4K gaming. Sound in this TV is impressive than the older version. The picture quality is unbelievable, deep, inky blacks, perfect contrast, and colors that look exactly how they’re meant to be. Movies, F1, and gaming all look insanely smooth, and the 77" size completely transforms the room into a home theater. The new webOS runs fast, the remote is intuitive, and the brightness is a huge step up from older OLEDs. HDR content practically jumps off the screen. Even in our bright living room, it holds up with zero glare issues. Gaming is next-level as well, ultra low input lag, all the HDMI 2.1 features, and motion that stays crystal clear during fast action. The sound is surprisingly good for a slim TV, but paired with a soundbar it’s perfect. If you’re on the fence, just get it. This TV is an absolute masterpiece and worth every dollar.

This C5 OLED comes with an amazing amount of clarity and brightness that helps if you have a bright room. Out the box, the colors all pop on each picture setting. There's no tinkering that needs to be done. I hooked it up with my PC and PS5 and you can tell the extra Hrz really helps with gaming. I cannot think of any negatives but if you're on the fence between a 65 inch or 77 inch, go for bigger. That's a huge difference in size and it really helps bring out the picture.
