There is not a substantial handle to pick cooler up. The handle is just molded plastic that you can barely get your fingers under. Also, it didn’t perform well in actually keeping things cool as the ice melted fairly quickly. It looks cool and I do like the fact it can roll and the little table feature was nice. Just don’t see myself using it frequently and definitely won’t be back on the beach.

I would have given the cooler 5 star if it wasn't for the poor lid and hinge design. For the price I would have expected higher quality parts. First time using the cooler, the cable used to keep the lid from opening to far, the bolt pulled out allowing the lid to go back to far and break the hinge. Warranty request submitted, waiting to see how it turns out. Outside of that, the cooler is awesome, easy to tow, holds a lot of stuff as well as hold ice for a long time. Works great for taking to the beach or on a boat.

So far, this cooler is almost everything I hoped. The large tires and wheelbarrow style handle gives the option of push or pull and makes steps and gravel very easy to navigate. The space inside is nice and square with a flat bottom, so stacking can be very efficient. I have two complaints. 1- the inlet to the drain is almost 1.5" above the bottom off the cooler so even if you tilt it up, it won't drain completely. 2-the lid doesn't mechanically latch. It's the same cheap feeling push to close top that the other cheap models have.

So far everything has been going great, and has met expectations. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the switches to hold the tray are a bit loose so it quite often falls into the ice. Also the black plastic ”legs” are a bit loose/wobbly. You’re unable to tighten either of these things. Not huge issues, but the only thing keeping this from 5 stars.

Bought this to take to the beach in the hopes the wheels would make it easier to haul. Have to say it was amazing. My 13 years old grandson ended up hauling it back and had no problems dragging it though the sand. Love the newer handle design. As for keeping ice for 4 days? Doubtful. It wasn't even a particularly hot day and two bags melted pretty quickly. The butlers tray was a lifesaver as were the side clips to strap down gear. The dry storage, albeit small, was very nice to keep our phones and glasses from getting sandy and out of the heat. Well worth the money. Now the rest of the family wants one! Only negative is it is such a tall cooler we couldn't close the tonneau cover on the truck. It is about 4 inches too tall for the truck bed. Chevy 1500.

The Trailmate Journey 70 Qt seems to be well built with a lot of great features. It's only going to be an occasional use cooler and we have not used it as of yet. I do with the seal on the lid was a little more secure but when transporting for our uses it shouldn't be a problem.

It's really big and, when loaded, really heavy. Definitely a two-person job to lift it in and out of the back of the car. But the telescoping handle and big wheels make it easy to pull along even when full. The picnic tray is surprisingly handy. Little kids can pull their little chairs up to it and eat at it like a table. Extra storage spots are great and the waterproof one is fully lined in rubber. Works well. Would easily be a 5-star product if they knocked it down to 55 or 60 quarts.

The cooler has a yellowish adhesive squeezed out around the top portion that was NOT cleaned off during production ruining the dark green finish. The lid was barely held on right out of the box. The cooler is also scuffed in numerous places further ruining the finish which is the ONLY reason I decided to spend so much to get this cooler.

I am not impressed. I sole reason one buys a cooler is to keep things cold and ice frozen for a long time. This lid does not seal well enough to do that. Its vaunted claim that it keeps everything cold for days is laughable. A 7 hour party saw my ice melting. Sure its got a lot of features, like the handle and giant wheels, but I need a bungee cord to properly seal the lid. Definately NOT worth the money paid.

Overall pleased with the product; however, bungee hooks should have holes in them, the cooler is also difficult to lift into a vehicle without appropriate handles, and it is too tall to fit under the bed cover of my truck. Would be nice to have an option where the wheels and base fold in or remove for loading into truck beds with bed covers.
