So far, this cooler is almost everything I hoped. The large tires and wheelbarrow style handle gives the option of push or pull and makes steps and gravel very easy to navigate. The space inside is nice and square with a flat bottom, so stacking can be very efficient. I have two complaints. 1- the inlet to the drain is almost 1.5" above the bottom off the cooler so even if you tilt it up, it won't drain completely. 2-the lid doesn't mechanically latch. It's the same cheap feeling push to close top that the other cheap models have.

I recieved this industrial looking cooler on Saturday and was camping with it on Tuesday. Despite the initial disappointment of the other 10 people on the camping trip that this was not a generator, the cooler worked out marvelously. The four day ice rating worked well and we kept all of our food for meals in the cooler. Even with the repeated opening of the cooler, we didn't see significant ice melting until the last day, after we packed up. If there was a powered cooler option on this I'd strongly consider it, just for extra days of cooling power.

We LOVE this cooler! It's pretty big, but that's exactly what we wanted. It fit a ton of drinks for our wedding party bus, and we received a lot of compliments on it too! The extra features are awesome (shelving, tray, bottle opener, and wheels!) We can't wait to bring this everywhere with us this summer.

Very disappointed in this expensive cooler. It showed up in the box with what appeared to be pretty good protective pieces inside. But the bottom axle is held on by cheap plastic and it was broken right through. I was really hoping for this much money this would be a much stronger cooler. Will be returning I’m looking for a different brand with higher quality.

After one trip using the cooler the foam on the handle has already torn off. Had to wrap it with tape. The inside shelf that is built into the top won't stay in place. It looks like the screws on the tabs aren't staying tight. I have tried tightening them but they wont stay in place to hold the shelf. Overall a pretty good cooler.

Don’t break your back trying to lift a snow sasquatch. This thing is incredible. It has wheels. It holds a ton; every bit that it looks like it should hold, unlike many other alternatives. It’s got umbrella and rod holders, a dry rack, and a serving tray. It stays is cold, even when left out in direct 100° sunshine. Circling back on the fact that It has wheels; really big ones! This thing can hang.

The cooler is large in size, and his capacity is way more than enough for a large group of people looking to load up enough beverages for the night. The Igloo Trailmate has just about every option you want in a cooler for fishing, beachgoing, or camping. The ice retention is phenomenal, I loaded it with 32 pounds of ice and a 24 pack of canned beverages, and it didn’t even fill half the cooler and still had ice in it 4 days later, while the cooler was sitting outside in near hundred-degree weather. Highly recommended!

Very sharp looking cooler and really like the features it offers. Have yet to fill it and use it but I'm thinking its going to perform as advertised with up to 4 days of staying cold. I did read a review about not being able to secure the lid without the application of bungee cords and I do wish that it could be secured since it could potentially lead to spillage of the contents if off trail or even loading into vehicle, boat, pulling through sand on a beach or otherwise.

Great cooler and got it on a great sale price. Would not buy if it was full price. There are complaints that the coolers come used. I know mine wasn’t used but it definitely didn’t come in pristine condition either. It had some light scratches, some of the foam for insulation was coming out from the non critical parts, and the wheels looked dirty. I know these coolers are just sitting stacked up in a dirty warehouse and that’s why they come the way they are. This is why I’m giving it only 3 stars

Used for one week at the beach. Tray inside of lid just falls when you close it. Never worked since the lever that holds it is too loose. Cover of handle has come almost completely off. Rubber seal for the dry compartment is out of place already. Worst part is, upon receiving the chest, ai realize two small knobs that hold the tray in the inside of the top lid do not hold. The bottom one just flops to the side and the tray falls when you close the lid. Tried to tighten the screw, but didn't help. Disappointed on these flaws after such an expensive lurchase. Most expensive chest I've ever bought and not very happy due to those flaws. Positive note - moves pretty good through the sand and the tie down spots on the sides and back of the chest are great.
