Michelin X - Ice Tyres are just a proven reliable product...Driving in Northeastern New York State is a perfect test of the X - Ice performance on the road...I have purchased two sets of X - Ice tyres over the years and would recommend without reservation...I never even spun a wheel or lost traction 'with these babies'....Real secure feeling on the road and I have driven in some deep aggregate(snow and ice mix) on the roads during the winter months... Tires ride smoothly and quietly. Was hoping to replace my Michelin Primacy with another set of Michelin Primacy. Old tires had plenty of tread but were getting old (summer only car with low mileage). The Defender do not corner like the Primacy. The Primacy were more performance oriented and you can tell the difference. Unfortunately the Primacy in my tire size is no longer available (225R60/16). I do not drive like a race car driver but when I made a U-turn, you could tell they didn't grip the same. Also when making a left turn with and advanced light, sometimes I can tell my tires are slipping (accelerate a little too hard for the tires). I wish the Primacy were still available in my size.

Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! With these tires, trust that you can get comfy, sit back in your seat and enjoy the ride!

What a difference these made on our old Caravan! Just be careful, the roads weren't always as good as they felt. Others still can't stop or go like you. So impressed with them I bought them for my Grand Cherokee too. Just bought a Town and Country, I will be trying the new Xi3's when winter gets here.

These tires ride very well. This is my second winter using them. They also wear well and give very good traction. I am a Salesman on the road every day and these tires have been great. I have had no problems on icy and snowy and wet roads. I have driven by many other cars that went off the road and I still kept going.

I have a set of 4 Michelin X-ice tires on my 2004 Chevrolet Malibu. These tires give good traction on snow and ice and are the best winter tires I've used in the past 20 years of using 4 winter tires on all of my cars. I have a 60 foot driveway that is on a slope and I have never gotten stuck with these X-ice tires - even when there was 2 feet of snow on the driveway!

These tires worked well this past winter and after 8000 miles show very little wear. There was never much snow to test them out in so I can't rate that. On the ice they got me home fine but I feel a studded tire would have been better, however because these are on an everyday commuter car studs dont make sense.

It is great to have the X-Ice in the winter time, I put them on my Prius, because I drive 70 miles a day for work, on a variety of road surfaces. Many times there is ice, snow and dangerous driving conditions. The X-Ice grips on curves and the road giving me driving confidence that my car will hang on the road, I havn't had a time when I have my Prius has slipped the least little bit. I have bought Michelin tires for my vehicles for many years and they have been great and lasted as advertised. I am certainly well satisfied. Thanks for a great product.

Expect more during the winter as a snow tire, paid good money for these tires , disappointed, wish u still had the first original weatherwise tires on the market, drove with them in the winter for 5 yrs. they had better grip and breaking. They didn't hydroplane. I won't put Xice back on car next year.

I originally purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Max Life tires in September. After putting 8,000 miles on them, I just wasn't happy with them, especially after the first heavy rain. America's tire bought the Good Years back and sold me this set of Michelins. I could feel the difference almost immediately. After almost a week on the tires, they are very quiet and smooth, even on rough roads. Have not driven in the rain with them yet, but I am sure they will be excellent. Very happy with these tires.
