Absolutely love these tires, recommended by several Pali owners. Better than the Hancock Better than the Hancock tire that Palisade comes with by default if you can believe that. I'm a Realtor and I cover a large geographic area so I spend countless hours and days driving. The ability to be able to make calls to my customers without all the background noise and a comfortable ride are absolutely paramount! I wish I could give a "0" to the defender 2. I just purchased them last week and they are LOUD. Very, Very LOUD. They are so bad my wife does not want to drive in the Santa Fe with me. If you are smart, please stay away from the Defender 2. Thank you.

I have not had a new set of tires in quite some time, and I just bought a set for my Rav 4. Love the way they feel, the way they hug the road and feel so much safer. I don't recall ever purchasing Michelin brand before and wish I had for sure! Definitely can tell the difference. It will be the brand I pick and recommend from now on.

I originally purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Max Life tires in September. After putting 8,000 miles on them, I just wasn't happy with them, especially after the first heavy rain. America's tire bought the Good Years back and sold me this set of Michelins. I could feel the difference almost immediately. After almost a week on the tires, they are very quiet and smooth, even on rough roads. Have not driven in the rain with them yet, but I am sure they will be excellent. Very happy with these tires.

Overall these are good tires. They handle well and are wearing well. They don't grip as well as similar snow tires I have used in snow deeper than a few inches. The tread is not very deep likely contributing to this deficiency. But, the tires work well on ice, have a quiet and comfortable ride and handle very well on and wet roads.

I have loved and appreciated ALL the sets of Michelin tires I have had, and I have had many over the years. My all time favorite are my X-Ices for the simple fact that they WORK. I change into them in November, and out of them in April. I feel 100% confident driving on frost, ice, snow, compact snow and in the rain. And, believe me I used to be a total white knuckle whimp driving in the winter. Now I go anywhere and everywhere, confident and relaxed. I always recommend Michelin tires to my family, friends and even casual aquaintances. I just wish more of them would give them a try so they too could exprerience the luxury of driving on the best.

This year, it was time to buy new tires for my Honda CR-V 2018. I researched a lot and came to the idea that Michelin Defender 2 is the best choice. I bought them and I could not believe how fantastic they are. Defender 2 is very quiet and comfortable on both highways and roads. In addition to comfort which was my first priority, they are excellent at handling and maintaining vehicle stability, even compare to the factory-installed tires which were not Michelin. I realized why Michelin is the number 1 brand trie in the world. As a friendly reminder, tire is the most important part of a vehicle and they must be the best. Spend your money wisely, buy Michelin, and enjoy your everyday ride. I never go with any other brands. I highly recommend Defender 2. Rest assured you will never regret your purchase.

I replaced the factory tires on my 2008 Prius at 32,700 mi in the fall of 2009 with a set of X-Ice 205/55R16 Winter tires. They are one size larger, but that was all that was available from my dealer at that time. Well, after 3 years and 57,000 miles later, its been a wonderful "year-round" ride with gas mileage usually in the mid forties. I have 89,800 miles on the car now, so its time to replace them, but this time I'm trying to buy a set of X-Ice3 of the factory recommended size, 195/55R-16/XL. We'll see if they perform as well as these have. This experience says a whole lot for X-Ice quality, comfort, wear and handling as an all-season tire for a Prius Touring car.

I drive approximately 15 miles to work (each direction) through city streets, starting and stopping about every 15-20 blocks. These tires not only can stop in snow (real Wisconsin snow) but can also start from a stop light in a few inches of snow as well. Most streets in Wisconsin are well plowed and salted, but I definitely spent time on some that weren't, and these tires always helped with the starting and stopping. I had NO issues driving last winter on my X-Ice tires, and since my regular tires are high performance, it was a nice cushy ride as well. On one occasion, three cars around me crashed into each other while driving on ice, I was able to stop on a dime and avoid being the fourth car in that accident. I'd say in that one occasion, they paid for themselves.
