You know how when you read reviews people say "Wow what a difference these tires make" Put a set of these Defender 2 Michelins on your SUV & then you'll be saying that too! Excellent tires.....well worth the money!!!

This is the third set of these tires I have purchased. Two sets on my previous Outback and this set for my most recent Outback. Extremely satisfied with the quiet ride and wet/dry performance. Highly recommend!

I have loved and appreciated ALL the sets of Michelin tires I have had, and I have had many over the years. My all time favorite are my X-Ices for the simple fact that they WORK. I change into them in November, and out of them in April. I feel 100% confident driving on frost, ice, snow, compact snow and in the rain. And, believe me I used to be a total white knuckle whimp driving in the winter. Now I go anywhere and everywhere, confident and relaxed. I always recommend Michelin tires to my family, friends and even casual aquaintances. I just wish more of them would give them a try so they too could exprerience the luxury of driving on the best.

I bought my Michelin Ice tires for Wisconsin winter driving and now would not be without them. They provide me with the security I was looking for. My commute is only about 25 miles but it can be white knuckling sometimes. With my Michelin Ice tires I travel much more comfortably than without them. I would recommend them to anyone but especially to the gals who might be uncomfortable with winter driving.

I have been buying Michelin tires for over 40- years and have never been disappointed. Just when I thought I had found the best tire for rain and snow for my Pontiac Grand Prix, a competitors tire, Michelin comes through again with a far superior tire, the Michelin X-ICE. Excellent traction on both ice and snow, which is badly needed by any vehicle driving on winter roads in Iowa.

I bought the X-ice tires for my morning commute to work . I was very hesitant to drive on ice as I was used to my grippy studded tires and thought that without studs I wouldn't feel as confident driving down the slick roads. I have done fine with my new tires. My one concern is that I won't get as many miles on these tires as I've heard they wear out faster than the average tire.

I have 2 teenage daughters driving now, one lives 4 hours away with a mountain pass between us. My other daughter works at an ice cream shop until closing at 11:00 pm. We live on a curvy road across the street from a lake, our road is icy from November to April every year. The Michelin X-Ice is the tire we run on all of our cars each winter. It is a great stress reliever knowing my girls are driving on tires that I know handle exceptionally well on these roads. The life of the tires also enable us to use them for more than just one season! They are well worth the money.

Having grown up and living in Colorado for 50+ years I have been through more snow tires than I care to recall... This past winter I equipped my rear wheel drive convertible with Michelin X-ice tires and have never been so completely satisfied with any tire. On dry pavement they handle like a dream but where they really shine is in slushy, icy conditions that have left me feeling helpless with any other tire... Oh, One thing more.... Thank You!

This is my second set of the Michelin Defender. 2 tires. My last purchase was in 2019. Although the tire has signs of wearing and some cracking, the tread on tires held up for five years. I was very pleased so I purchased another set for the same car.

I researched tires for my 2018 Nissan Rogue and read good reviews for this tire. I was looking for quiet and a smooth ride. I just drove home from the tire store and am hugely impreased with the ride! I don't know about longevity yet but am looking forward to the future.
