There's three ways to use: as a traditional long stick vacuum to vacuum floors, you've got the brush for which you can collapse the vacuum to be a handheld, and a edge vacuum. I was also pleasantly surprised by how strong the suction is as well as how long it lasts in terms of battery power. I was able to suck a bunch of pet hair and dusk without issues. Cons: There are not a lot of cons to this other than maybe the cannister to hold the dust could be larger. I would also say the packaging is a bit smelly (plastic/cardboard smell).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use cordless stick vacuums mainly in my kitchens to clean up messes on the floors and the abundance of never ending pet hair. Prior to this vacuum I had a Dyson stick vacuum. Honestly, they vacuumed basically the same EXCEPT for 2 very important things: The Bissell had a noticeably longer battery life AND you don't have to hold down the power button to vacuum. If you don't think that is important, then you have never used one of these! :) The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because, like other stick vacuums, it struggles to get larger pieces like a pop corn kernel. It is best suited for dust, flour, pet hair and littler pieces. This is why I find it a good fit for the kitchen. I am thankful Bissell kindly gave me this Powerlift Turbo Cordless Stick Vacuum for free so that I could review it - my Dyson just wasn't cutting it!

My initial expectations when using a cordless vacuum is two things 1. the battery life and 2. how strong is the suction power on it. For the first one I am extremely impressed with its battery life, it is a bit heavier than let's say a regular vacuum but it does hold a much longer battery life which means not having to charge it as often and it is ready to go. We use it every day in our kitchen and in the dogs back room where they eat and sleep. As it is Fall they are still shedding a lot and both of our dogs are messy eaters, in other words we have to clean up dog food from the floor every day and bending over with the hand vac was starting to bother our backs. The only advice I would give on battery is the lack important information such as % of battery life. 2. Strong suction based on what level setting you use. We used 2 for our hardwood floors and 3 for carpet and car cleanups, we have a toddler so the backseat has been filled with goldfish throughout the week. I think the LED lights on the display are a nice touch with each setting to indicate what level you are at suction wise. Also, shockingly quiet! My wife does most of the cleaning, but I have enjoyed using it so much she made a comment for the first time that I have been jumping in to clean up more often and she is wishing we got this a long time ago. It is not heavy and easy to maneuver with the full stick attached for floors or as a traditional hand vac for smaller spots. The fact that it comes with different heads makes this vacuum more versatile than a traditional hand vac but without the weight of a full on heavy vacuum where you are dragging the vacuum and the cord. Honestly, that is why I probably like using it so much and offering to help more. It is easy to use and gets the job done. My request is that since it is difficult to store because of it's size/shape and could benefit from a wall mount kit. Would be great if

I have 4 children, it's perfect for cleaning the small spaces of their bedrooms where my hand can't reached. It is very practical to use and does not weigh at all. The only thing I didn't like is that the battery takes more than 3 hours to charge.

The lightweight and small stature of it make it so easy to use and to get into small spots. The small wheels in the side also help to keep it upright and not falling over from being a bit heavier on the top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stick vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was pretty excited to try a Bissell product. I have 3 kids aged 3y, 5y, and 6y so the amount of dirt, crumbs, and random stuff is ridiculous. It has 3 power modes and while the lowest setting was quiet enough not to bother my light-sleeping toddler in the next room, I preferred medium. I didn't notice a much of a difference between medium and high power. The suction and cleaning was just about what I was expecting. I've never been dissatisfied with a cordless machine's performance. The convenience of not being tied to a wall and not having to worry about accidentally tripping myself is nice. It's so lightweight and pivots nicely. Draw backs? Any piece of paper that was larger than a quarter would get stuck in the little area where it passes from the stick to the actual crumb container. Anything taller than a couple of quarters stacked was too tall and would just be pushed along (but at least kid toys won't get sucked away). I also found that anything moist (like tiny little bits of broccoli floret) just won't get sucked up. I loved how easy it was to empty and clean. I also loved the hand vac accessory better than what I previously used to clean out car seats, sand from the trunk, and kitchen corners. Based on the packaging, I got the impression you would mount it to a wall charger. However, there wasn't a wall mount included. I tried propping it up in a corner and it would just slide down. It doesn't stand upright. Overall, I would recommend this product to the 20 year old college me who lived alone with my dog. It would have been amazing on my weekend clean-ups- getting the dirt and hair my dog and I tracked in off the doggy bed and couch. It would have been so much faster than the broom and lint brush I used back then. That being said, I don't really recommend it to someone in my stage of life. The kinds of messes my kiddos make are too big and moist for this stick vacuum.

I needed a new cordless vacuum because my Tineco vacuum broke and wanted to try a different brand. I did not do my research on this vacuum. It does have a great suction system but with a short battery life and no wall mount it's not worth buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Florida where we (mostly) all have hard tile floors with the exception of some large area rugs so stick vacs are all I use. I do have a couple of the bigger traditional ones but they aren't really very convenient. I happen to see something's comparing the Bissel to the Shark. I own a Shark too so I'm in a good position to review and compare. I'll start off saying that the Bissel does indeed have more power/suction than that of the Shark. We have two cats,and again live in Florida so it's a constant battle with litter, sand, and dust even though I don't wear shoes in my house. I also rather like the wheels that help you change direction. My husband didn't care for that aspect of the Bissel. On the other hand, I found the handle of the Bissel to become uncomfortable towards the end of vacuuming my home. My hand felt sort of crampy. My husband liked the handle. While I do like that the Shark has a bin that the canister empties into whenever you place it on the charging stand, the actual canister is significantly smaller and if on full power, runs out of battery quickly. The bottom line? I think I prefer the Bissel.

I was so excited to get it, but quickly realized this was not what I was expecting. The maneuverability was great, and I could easily use it one-handed while holding my baby in the other hand. But unfortunately even on the strongest suction, it didn't seem to pick up much, and as soon as I stopped the vacuum it would leave a massive puddle of dust and dirt where it was, requiring me to have to go get another vacuum out to clean up that big mess. And the attachments picked up even less dirt! It does pick up hair well so I still am using it for that, but not much else.

(Bissell sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program.) It has all the essential functions of a good vacuum: - It has good suction. The dust (and I have a lot of dust) is gone! - It's got a cordless option. I've never had this before except with a tiny dustbuster, and the flexibility it gives you is really nice. - Speaking of flexibility, it comes with attachments for furniture and small spaces too. I really have no complaints. Now I just need to figure out how to throw out my old (non-cordless) vacuum!
