I had to “doctor this up” to make it taste like anything. Pretty boring for my tastebuds without salt and pepper. Even added a little curry to my last bowl.

This soup is delicious! I add some of my home made chicken (I purchased the whole chicken pack) and it is hard to beat the taste or nutritional. WHY HAVE YOU STOPPED CARRYING IT????????

Great flavor! You have to make sure you cook as directed or the rice will be hard. I added water to mine because of the thick consistency. One of the better store bought soups we've eaten.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup at Panera is my all-time favorite, so I was excited to see this MM version at Sam's Club. It's not exactly the same, but it is very good, and when you factor in the difference in price, I will be purchasing the MM version on a regular basis. It is a tasty, filling and comforting meal on a chilly day. I like to serve it with sliced crusty bread or a baguette. Yummy!

I don't understand how this has a 4 star rating. It was inedible to me. If you like the taste of a heavy condensed cream of mushroom soup, you will probably like this. I tried seasoning it myself but I couldn't make it palatable. The soup has very small pieces of chicken in it, just like condensed soup does. It really didn't have any redeeming qualities for me.

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give this a try, however to my shock I'm pretty sure this has been mislabeled. After heating it on the stove I hoped the way that it tasted was going to be better than the way it smelled plus it was super thick not creamy like the normal consistency of a soup. My 1st bite I knew almost immediately this had to be labeled wrong, I believe this is dog food. It looks and smells funky and the way it tasted there's just no way I could take more than 1 bite without projectile vomiting. I gave it to my dogs and they gobbled it up. It's not edible for me. Not sure on these reviews %26 their legitimacy.

I'm flabbergasted by all the good reviews and am thinking these reviewers might not know what chicken wild rice soup should taste like. This soup tastes like southern gravy with rice in it. If you like gravy and biscuits, you'll love this. But real Minnesota wild rice soup is a completely different taste and appearance, much whiter — more cream, no gravy. We couldn't even eat the second container. We like Sam's club soups and wish there were many more, but this one needs a recipe revamp.

I hoped this would be like Panera or Publix chicken and wild rice soup. Not even close!! This was very thick, which I expected. I always thin this kind of soup with milk because it's always too thick for me. I did the same with this, thinned it with milk. No problem. The problem is with the flavor. I don't know what it is, but there is a very weird flavor to this soup. And an even worse after taste as well. Sort of metallic in a way, and a bit burnt, plus something else odd there. Hard to describe. It's just plain bad whatever it is. There is chicken in it, but very tiny pieces that you have to make an effort to find. A very few visible pieces of shredded carrot. The other visible bits in there? Heck if I know, they are unidentifiable. I won't be buying this ever again.

I tried this soup in the club and I was hooked! It's like a homemade soup recipe, like a bowl full of comfort! They sampled it with some shredded cheese and a piece of sourdough toast and I had to recreate it at home for my family and they liked it, too!

The box says 6 servings in a container. When I eat this soup, I get a hearty tavern bowl with a wooden spoon and eat the whole thing. I feel like a wary traveler coming in from the bone chilling winter, and the only relief is a good bowl of THIS soup. It's giving wholesome, it's giving creamy, it's giving this-is-the-best-chicken-and-rice-soup-you-will-find-on-this-long-journey. Too soon, my bowl is finished and I grieve the sense of hope, revelation, and possibility I experienced just minutes before when starting my meal. I love this soup. TLDR: buy it now. But not too many because I'll need some more
